Hello!

I’m Weta. A trans girl living in Uzbekistan. I desperately need help with getting away. I already described my situation in the pinned post, for now I just want to share a few thoughts.

We almost hit $700. This is already a massive sum. I also have received $1500 from my bf via other methods. With every day, my safety and opportunity to live free becomes less and less of a dream and more of a reality. However, even like this, we’re still a fair distance from our goal.

Hello!

I’m a trans woman living in a very unsafe environment. I have to face prejudice, medical malpractice and distrust. There’s no legal protection for people like me. So I need to do something. The further I go into my transition, the less safety I have.

Here I will be posting updates about the fundraiser, my thoughts and feelings and, maybe, something more once the worst it behind.

You guys already donated over $350 and it’s insane for me to see those numbers go up. That alone makes me feel things I can’t exactly put into words. And when I start to think about the fact that behind every name or “anonymous” text there’s an actual person, which went out of their way to help me, I get genuinely overwhelmed. It’s mostly a happy feeling, but I guess it’s somewhat bittersweet. Thank you, guys. A lot. I would also like to help everyone who shared, every repost helps! It is you all that make me living a normal life possible.
