I don't know if it's just me, but when I speak with healthy people, I feel like I'm living in a completely different reality.
What? You don't worry about getting seriously ill everyday? Your biggest inconvenience is traffic? You don't wake up in pain? You can do multiple activities without physical consequences? You have income for things other than necessities?
How are we even living in the same society?

begging people to conceptualize that mobility aid user =/= visible disability pleeeaaasseeee
Physical disabilities are very often obvious and disabling without requiring mobility aids.
No hate at all to aid users, and i love that we've been destigmatizing mobility aids, decorating, posting etc.
at the same time, i would love to see advocacy and positivity broaden out to the diversity of disabled experience.
(speaking as someone with a neuromotor disability that impairs tasks of daily living, but does not benefit from mobility aids.)
