I dm'ed the museum on Instagram but they're already closed, hopefully someone sees it. I know it doesn't mean anything from me, but I'm really sorry they did that. It actually really surprised me they didn't credit you, the McNay sticks artist credits on everything they get, including how they acquire each piece (although sometimes because of the pieces/how they're placed the placards can end up in really weird spots not near the piece). But I'm really sorry they didn't credit you, that was super sucky of them.

Thanks so much, I appreciate it. I'm just genuinely baffled an art museum would do this, and I hope other galleries aren't doing the same thing with art they find on the internet.

urgent help!

as you guys know my grandparents got scammed almost a month ago, some man told them he was going to send them medical equipment they needed for $500 dollars, we were desperate, not only they lost all the money they had, my grandpa has gotten significantly worse, he's starting to lose vision in his good eye and my grandma is losing mobility as well (evidence), I know I sound annoying always coming here and begging for money for my grandparents and for my college, I don't know how to anticipate the grief, losing my grandpa everyday to his illness, losing my college education cause I can't afford it, in México the situation it's just getting worse and even though I feel lonely I have found a community here and I'm forever grateful for that, even a dollar goes a long way and all the money will go to their medical needs since I'm very sure I won't be able to cover college expenses, please share and donate if you can, you can help via p*ypal or any way you want through ko-fi, here's the link! 💕 thank you sm

Hi, long time fan, but I haven’t been on tumblr in a while. What do you mean David’s dad got crushed by an overpass in front of him?????????

Yup, that was a thing that happened! Fun fact: it was the incident that flipped a switch in his brain and forced his 4th wall related powers to manifest.

He was in his dad's car when an overpass collapsed on them. Trevor was crushed to death by debris and David was heavily injured-- his leg was shattered and his lung was punctured by broken ribs. If his panel jumping ability hadn't activated and dropped him into a nearby hospital, he would've died too.

He often pins the blame on the supers that caused the collapse and did nothing to save them afterward, but he still feels guilty for not being able to pry his dad from the rubble even though he himself was in a critical condition at the time.

It screwed him up but he wants to pretend he's over it.

I find it funny that David just bypasses the vampiric seduction thing altogether. He doesn't get how it works or how it feels. It's useless to him.

He's aware of how vampirism can be used as an allegory for sexuality, so he'd tell you he's "deconstructing the modern stereotype in a meaningful and rebellious way" when in reality he's really just clueless, disinterested, and awkward.
