People calling Cass a “self insert” or “Chris’ OC” genuinely pisses me off. It actually gets under my skin, because it’s such an insult to the other people who worked on her and helped to shape her character.
There were more people who worked on her and made her the character she is than just Chris. Chris came up with the blueprint and some details, she wasn’t properly developed, animated, voice acted or fully realised by him.
Also- people using “OC” like it’s an insult to the character and a way to show what a “bland” character she is hilarious to me because they do realise that literally all the other characters in the show are OCs… literally every character in existence is someone’s OC…
