POST-GAME SPAMTON SPRITE EDITS,,, plus some headcanons and bonuses under the cut
SO LIKE. I’m totally of the belief that Spamton is 100% fine (as is Jevil) even after being turned into an equippable item. I’m HOPING that by the end of the story, there will be some way to have the secret bosses hang out around Castle Town!
In Spamton’s case specifically, after the NEO fight, he regains some of his former composure temporarily. Somewhere in there is the old advertising program he used to be! The farther he gets away from the trash zone and his old exile, the more he starts to break away from the puppet motif inflicted on him by his adware viruses.
Of course, he’s still a wacky dude. He never QUITE returns to a “normal” state. His speech is always a little funky.
But as he restores his sense of self and freedom, he starts showing some of his old Addison mannerisms again! (I incorporated some of that with the green in his palette!) Now he’s just the funny guy hanging around the dark fountain and selling interesting products Seam won’t bother with.
