life update (mind the tags)

hi! i havent been posting much art

after thesis and wrapping up college, i decided id take a break before looking for work. i, however, did not expect that break to be a breakdown!

turns out, drifting aimlessly with no goal is the scariest thing that can happen to you. i ask myself “whats left?” or “whats keeping me around?” and when i look ahead i see nothing past my graduation

lately ive kind of been VERY bad. i havent had the motivation to create anything, which is why my posts are sparse! ive been filling my days with youtube videos and purchasing trinkets online and, once a week, leaving the house to visit boyfreak. thats pretty much it

most of this is an active attempt to stop me from killing myself. i dont really know how to put that delicately

art hasnt helped the way it used to. i dont know how or why. maybe im just scared to create? or maybe im burned out, or ashamed of the art i really want to make. maybe im putting pressure in myself to appease an invisible audience, so nothing i make is good enough. who knows!

anyway. thats how ive been holding up. just wanted to put that out there- not done creating! not dead! i promise! i hope ill go back to normal soon. i cant guarantee that. but i really hope

its been bleak, but its never bleak for long, right?
