think about the lee family and how fucking tragic they all are. samin tries so hard to be nothing like sara by holding on to her humanity and her love. but in trying to keep sayeon close, she ends up limiting/suffocating her and ruining their relationship.

one thing i absolutely adore about hand jumper is the relationship between sayeon and ryujin. their specific dynamic definitely isn't rare in other webtoons or manga, but it is sorta rare (at least to me) to see between two women. the "two-steps ahead, wants to do good but is going off the deep end, morally gray" mc and the "outwardly aggressive but actually the most morally sound" ally are typically portrayed as men, so ryujin and sayeon are a breath of fresh air for me.

Contrast with traitor, traitor, where Samin is introduced by her real name and White is introduced with no quotation marks.

took me 3 months to finish this because i’ve only seen two kdramas and they were very much not… high school kdramas (i miss you penthouse) so 90% of those 3 months was just me fighting for my life tryna find suitable actors . so why did i choose korean actors of all people to use as vcs? bc i like being quirky and different and i like pain and suffering idk. hope yall fw this 😈🙏

Sorry for dissappearing here... Lowkey forgot I have this tumblr, so many social medias to keep track of and update constantly. This one is just a lil personal work and a challenge I did with friends to paint ourselves as our MBTIs. Mine was INFP-T... wanted to add a tint of that "turbulence" in the piece with the thorns while still keeping it peaceful.

Kind of imagined this sound while making the piece x) Super recommended even just to listen once, really beautiful.

Week 11 no Hand Jumper - thought I'd go for some Mina doodles 🤩 As much as Pink antagonizes Min in canon, I think she'd adore having a little sister, especially one who'd stand still and let her play dress up whenever she wants.
