Eh....
I've lost interest in this campaign for rn, but I'll probably start a whole new one to get back into the swing of things. We'll see

Sry abt the delay
I haven't been able to get back into the swing of things, not least of all bc, until 2day, I had no idea what few hits I'd been getting were from this blog and was convinced nobody cared. But I'll get back on it once my motivation returns
Also, while I didn't say so, the plan was to switch to my own system once that got to a playable state, but frankly, using Knave has already given this its own mouthfeel I couldn't properly replicate in my own system w/o just copying the system I'm already using. Plus I like Knave, and game design is a pain in the ass

Party begins travelling to the Dungeon, and also finds, signs
 of all things, glue
Noon
They enter the dungeon, and head right this time
12:10pm
The party encounters an underground brook- evidently the passage thru to the next level. They turn left, and the path from there leads into a salt marsh, and hear sounds of battle in the distance
12:20pm
They continue straight on, finding an abandoned pasture, and further straight and to the left they entered a small canyon, and decide to take a break
12:40pm
The path continues down a pass, the party turns left thru some Highlands on the other side, and on thru a Savannah, finding fallen trees
12:50pm
The party makes another left, entering into a Bamboo forest that appears to be on the edge of the abandoned Pasture from earlier, and make a right on into a sea of dunes that led on into another dungeon. 3rd level. And here they heard a neaby gravel flow
1pm
In the 1st room of level 3, they find a shaft leading back up to level 1. The party backtracks at full walking pace thru the dungeon, heading back up to the 1st level
1:10pm
They find the secret entrance to the shaft from the 1st floor and get to work setting up a rope so they can travel quicker between levels, using Eldon’s rope (50’ft/10 spaces)
1:20pm
They exit the dungeon for now
5:20pm
On their way home, a light rain starts, and they encounter a group of travelling traders making their way out of town 5:30pm Eldon finishes the day by buying another 50' rope for 10c

Why THESE Archetypes?
Hardline traditionalists might wonder why I've opted for Barbarians, Rangers, and Magicians as the ideal "classes" in my own opinion, as opposed to Fighters and either Thieves or Clerics alongside the Mage? Because it works better. The only way to balance Mages w/o nerfing them is by giving everyone else everything to do-
Barbarians (at least, the traditional Conan ones) are the Fighter and Thief in one. Equal parts cunning and cutting, they excel at dungeon delving and all that that entails
Rangers, obviously, are fit for Outdoor Survival. But just as well, I imagine them as being expert trackers and hunters, like Geralt or a Belmont. When you're hired to slay a beasty, you'd do well to have one of these on your side And, finally, the Magician. Not only are they the Spellcaster and Nerd, I also envision them as the party socialite. While Wizards aren't often the most Charismatic of folks, they are studious and well-read individuals capable of rubbing elbows w/ the best, and working-class Mages do just as well w/ the "rabble"
Thank you for listening

8am
The Party made purchase a Cart for Excess Loots after getting an early start. It was roughly an even split, Rose and Eldon paid 15, and Merrick and Tabitha paid 10, as they didn’t have as much. After, the party set out for the nearby Dungeon, w/ Merrick pulling the cart
Noon
The party entered the Dungeon, having traveled 2 leagues and encountered nothing on the way but some traders coming to town and a bit of molten wax on the ground
Eldon lights his 1st torch. They first enter into an old Guard Room, before going Left into a Slaughterhouse, and Right into some kind of Clock Room, and have yet to encounter anything
12:10pm
(5)
They continue forward into a Meditation Room, a Cloak Room, and Right into an Art Gallery. They try to examine the art, only for the torch to prematurely burn out. Eldon lights his 2nd
12:20pm
(6)
They examine the art and deduce that it’s a good enough 1st Dungeon Haul. Of the 39 or so pieces, they take 5, held by Merrick
12:30pm
(5)
They head Right, Right again into a room full of Copper Wire, and left into another Meditation Room with a Shrine, and then a Brewery further on, just shy of the Guard Room, and are startled by a suddon trickling of mud from a crack in the ceiling into a nearby floor grate
12:40pm
(4)
They encounter nothing else on their way out of the Dungeon. They load up the paintings and head home
4:40pm
On the way back to Blackviolet, they find that it’s gotten extremely hot, even for July, and just outside of town stumble across some porcupines scurrying across the road
4:45pm
The party makes it to the General Merchant to sell the art off
4:50pm
The pieces are appraised at 110, 90, 90, 140, and 70 coins in order. For a total of 500, which they split, and they each go home for the night

The Party(s)
Thus far, the only party I'm running in this Campaign is as-yet-unnamed, consisting of 2 Barbarians, a Ranger, and a Magician (I'll detail this in another post). They are-
Rose Grimbuck isn’t as tough or strong as her fellow Barb Merrick, but she’s better armored and the better thief, being a skilled Locksmith. She’s also got a knack as a Naturalist
Merrick Clodcastle isn’t the brightest, but he doesn’t need to be. He’s built like an Orcish Smokehouse and has a mean stare. He also helps Keep for the nearby Inn and moonlights as a Stonemason
Eldon Rathridge is the Ranger, and is an expert hunter and trapper by trade. He’s broody and quiet, but enjoys the company of his Party, and they enjoy being shoulder-to-shoulder with an experienced outdoor adventurer when out in the Overworld
Tabitha Chuffsop is studied as an Arcanist, and thus serves as the Party Mage, tho she’s also a skilled Tattooist, and enjoys her work in doing so
