The Leviathan Coaster

❦❧ Summary: A day at the amusement park with Hua turned out to be scarier than you thought.

Fu Hua decided to take you out on your days off, which was a rare occasion. She didn’t explain where exactly, but you trusted your girlfriend to choose a good date. What you didn’t expect though, was she brought you to the amusement park. “Hua, is this really a good idea?”

You were deathly scared of heights, and even the thought of roller coasters made you feel queasy. “Trust me it will be fun. After all, I’m here with you.” Hua’s voice was soft as she spoke to you, and her grip on your hand tightened reassuringly around you. You inhaled a deep breath as you two walked around.

“I don’t know Hua. You know I’m really scared of heights.” She smiled softly at you “If anything were to happen to you, I’ll protect you. I promise.” Her words made your face flush up and a tinge of red spread across your face. You exhaled softly in a sigh, “Alright. I’ll go on a ride with you.” You seemed reluctant, but willing to try at least.

Hua led you over and around all the rides, just to show you which ones there was. “You can pick the ride, y/n.” You sighed in relief that she wasn’t expecting any big rides right off the bat.

After watching all the different roller coasters go by, you settled on one that did not look too intimidating. The line was not large, since the majority of people wanted to go on the bigger rides. The roller coaster just went around. It wasn’t necessarily small or anything like that, it just didn’t have any big drops and twists.

You actually realized you started to have some fun on what you previously thought was the bane of your existence. You laughed and smiled alongside Fu Hua, pointing out all the different things in the scenery. The trees, the small animals. Even just the decorations looked interesting from high up.

“Look, even the mascot statue looks small from here!” You exclaimed out loud to Hua. She nodded and looked at the statue too. “You’re right.” The roller coaster wasn’t that fast, and you ultimately decided you wanted to try a bit of a quicker and ‘bigger’ coasters. With two seats in each different parts of the coaster. Hua sat right down next to you and brushed a piece of hair from your vision.

“You got this, love.” She cheered you on, and it started to accelerate and go up slowly. The drop was visible, and every second the growing anticipation gnawed away at you. Subconsciously your tight grip on Hua’s hand tightened a bit more, and she rubbed the back of your palm softly.

The roller coaster stopped for a brief moment lf the edge before sending you down. The wind quickly whizzed by and hit your face, you felt winded. All you could and did do was scream. Hua was surprisingly calm and kind of just sat there like nothing was happening. You could only scream at the very top of your lungs as it went around twists and around and dropped more.

And quite frankly, you were terrified for your life. When it was finally over your head felt nauseous and light, Hua let you lean on her shoulder of course. Her hand gently rubbed your back. “Are you okay?” You nodded, but soft sobs were racking your body. “…Scary.”

“There, there. You’ll be okay.” You felt like a small child again crying like this, but there was nothing wrong with that. She whispered reassuring sentences to you and rocked you back in forth. “How about we stay on the smaller rides?” You nodded into her shoulder and shut yours eyes tightly.

“I feel a little dizzy and sick.” Such was evident in how you swayed with every step.

The Hunt

❦❧ A/N: My bad it’s not really a villain reader, I wasn’t exactly sure how to go about it—

❦❧ Summary: She’s on the run, but you caught her.

Splish. Splash. Countless footsteps were walking through rainy puddles in the busy city. No one had the time to pay attention to a shady teenager. No one cared, more like in a big city. You walked through the dark alleys of Arc City, a simple cloak covering your appearance. Only a couple strand of wet h/c locks stuck to your face.

It was still a wild goose chase for Kiana. You were leading a small group of Valkyries under Durandal’s command to find her. Multiple groups were currently searching the bustling city for any sort of clue or sign.

Your gaze falls in a nearby intersection. A flash of white whizzed by which caught everyone’s attention. You make a quick signal to the rest of your crew to split up, corner the girl. The command was made with a bit of a pause before being issued, like you were hesitating.

You couldn’t stop thinking about her. About the mission object, Kiana. But you shook the thought quickly. Overseer Otto knows what he’s doing, of course. That’s the entire reason you follow him, confident in his vision of purging Honkai from the world. The walls that fell for a brief moment were now steeled again as you searched for Kiana.

Thump. A sound caught your attention and you cautiously approached. Shadows fell on the walls as the bodies of your Valkyries fell over. You bent down to check their pulse. Unconscious, not dead. You lifted your head and met someone’s blue eyes. It was Kiana, and she was tired but refused to back down from her Schicksal attackers. You reached your hand out to rest on her shoulder, almost surprising yourself with your words.

“Hey. You alright?” Kiana looked suspiciously at you before gently pushing you away. “Stay away. I— I’m dangerous.” She spoke up with genuine concern for your safety. The girl kept trying to push you away, her eyes never met yours. Once again, you felt your thoughts conflict between your loyalty to the Overseer, and Kiana who stood in front of you. She had been a friend to you on previous joint missions, even though you two never interacted too much.

“Y/n?” She calmed down a little as she recognized your face. “It’s… Been awhile, Kiana.” An awkward silence spanned between you two before you pulled out handcuffs. Kiana looked like she had been through Hell and back, and your dropped the cuffs to hug her. “It’s going to be alright. Everything is okay.”

She buried her face into your shoulder and started to sniffle. “It’s not! Everything is falling apart, I can’t find Mei, and Himeko is—“ At the end of her sentence she started sobbing more and hugging you. “Shh, shh. I promise you it’s going to be okay.” Your hand comfortingly patted her back. You stood there with Kiana as the rain pelted down on you two, footsteps started to thunder down the corridors of the alleys.

“Run. Go.” You softly hissed to Kiana, giving up on the premise of catching her. She glanced back at the black figures on the walls and nodded back. “Alright… Thank you, y/n.” Kiana quickly dashed away leaving you alone until another crew of the Immortal Swords came over. “Did you see her?” You shook your head.

“Nothing. Disappeared like the wind.”

❦❧ Summary: She was like a fire and comforted you in the coldest nights. But you got too close and now it’s starting to burn.

Clink.

The sounds of glasses hitting each other echoed around the large room. Both of you were putting up a façade for the show, exchanging glances with Sakura. Her sharp alert eyes met yours, giving a slight shake of her head.

Almost like she was signalling ‘not yet’. You waited, interacting with some of the guests. Sakura had brought you here for a supposed assassination target she had. After what had happened to Rin, she never wanted to let you out of her sight. Fearing for your safety.

You started to feel exhausted after a long time of conversing with people, you sipped a little bit of your drink before Sakura pulled you abruptly. “Let’s go.”

"But- The target?" You spoke up in a suddenly confused tone. The entire reason you were here was to assist your girlfriend. “Don't worry." Her voice chilled you. It was colder than usual, like she hid something. Like something was wrong. Every step she took was made with hesitance, Sakura rarely displayed any sort of hesitance, really.

You decided to speak up after a bit,

Silence met you with a chilling silence before decisively responding. "Nothing." Your heart thudded loud in your chest, something was going to happen.

The stars above illuminated the sky and shone moonlight on the couple's faces. Sakura stopped and pressed you against the wall, and the cold stone made you shiver. Her hand went to the hilt of her katana and drew it speedily against your neck. Faster than the eye could see. "Sakura?!"

“…”

Her refusal to speak said everything. You were the target she meant. The truth hit you like a brick wall to the face with a realization, and the cold ice blade snapped your thoughts back to reality. Sakura held you in an almost longing gaze before shifted her eyes away from yours.

“I’m sorry.”

The only words she spoke already made all the sense you could make it out to be. Blood oozed down your neck and left a sticky feeling. "Move or scream and it's over." Sakura was dead serious about this, seeing you like just another target. Not someone she had spent countless nights with, or spent the rare days off hanging out with.

Did it all mean nothing to Sakura? Was it simply a front? "Please, you're hurting me-" The blade pressed deeper and quickly shut you up. Her gaze fell away from yours again. "I'll make it quick for you." She promised.

You couldn't scream or cry, instead all that came out were raspy breaths. You drew your hand to brush against her cold cheek, and it seems Sakura's face fell. A tinge of... Sadness? Regret? Washed across her face. It became clear this was the first time she hesitated to kill a target.

In a quick motion the frost bitten blade cut your jugular and you slid to the ground. Sakura reached her arms out, almost as if reflex to catch you. Her face buried into your chest and her ears fell limp. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."

The last words she heard were your dying breaths and a promise.

"I'll look after Rin."

The petals of the Forget-Me-Nots fluttered down as a lay parting gift.

❦❧ Word Count: 451 words ❦❧ A/N: I did my best with my first Tumblr writing, hope y’all enjoy!

❦❧ Summary: Elysia drags you along for a walk, and it turns into a cute outing.

Spring had just rolled around the corner, and the new life was beginning to peek out from the melting snow blankets. You had spent months in the little office inside your house during the winter. The fresh spring grass was a warm welcome in comparison to the cold and frigid winter.

Sitting at the desk, you lifted your head to look out the window and enjoy the view.

"Hi~" A sweet voice interrupted your thoughts, and you turned your head. A smile turned your lips up. Elysia's head poked just around the corner of the door, and she swung herself around the frame and entered.

Elysia walked right up to you and wrapped her arms around your neck, then proceeded to leave a quick boop on your nose. "Hey, Ellie," You responded back. "What's up?"

"Well, I was thinking we should go for a walk! ♪" Her voice was so enthusiastic and excited, your heart melted and you couldn't help but agree. "Well..."

"Pleeeeaseee?"

You chuckled and ruffled her hair. "Alright, let's go." Within less than a second, she was already dragging you towards the door. Elysia was wearing a light sweater with a scarf, and she tossed you a sweater too. "Come on!"

The air was still a little brisk outside, but Elysia tightly held your hand in hers. Butterflies and bees fluttered about, landing on flowers, collecting nectar. Elysia was skipping about and fawning over all the baby animals with their mothers.

Bunnies hopped around and Elysia took photos. Squirrels ran around? Elysia took photos. You chuckled in amusement as she took photos of basically every cute animal. Following behind with your hands in your pockets. Something caught the edge of Elysia's eye, and she tugged your hand to go look.

"Hm? What is it?"

She didn't respond, but instead pulled you past the trees. "Look!" You focused your eyes to the bright sun rays, and a big field of colour filled your gaze. "Woah..." Tulips, daisies, dandelions, hundreds of different flowers were scattered around. Elysia looked over to you and put her hands on her hips.

"Let's make flower crowns!" She sat down in a grassy spot, careful not to crush anything. Elysia quickly got to work picking a plethora of flowers and gently weaving the stems together. You sat down right beside her and picked some flowers of your own, pink and blue tulips to match her eyes and hair.

You and Elysia spent a long time sitting beneath the bright sky just laughing and making flower crowns. You proudly held up the crown of flowers and coronated Elysia with it. "What do you think?"

She smiled and hugged you tightly. "It's pretty, just like you, y/n~"
