I decided to do a post to acknowledge Mark Hudson (no one was surprised.)

Remember that post from Reddit? Remember the last paragraph? If you're about to ask which version (and yeah, it's not shady at all that there were two versions of it), the polished one. The one someone thought would "sound" better to people's ears and would be less defamatory.

The audience. It's about the audience. What a fucking joke.

So, you're respecting the audience by keeping the name Hudson and giving it to another person like you're merely switching shirts? When you erase years of storylines? When you erase loves, friendships, partnerships, families? When you don't even let the audience grieve your main character?

Fuck off. Whoever you are, even if you are Sherri Davis or "just part of the team" like you claimed to be (in the first version of the post), you're all in it for yourselves. You try to play the community card when you pulled something like this? When you gutted the show?

And let me be clear, at this point I don't care if John Reardon asked for a million dollars per episode (which like hell he did, actors usually ask what they're owed and productions lie about their profits all the fucking time). You end the show instead of turning it into something like this! You have the decency to recognize that this is the end of the road. Because it will be the end of the road anyway, but it will die not with a bang but a whimper.

How many people will stick around to watch that, huh? When they see the replacement, when they realize that Mark is named Mark Hudson, a fact that for two episodes no one acknowledged too? A fact that I suspect no one will acknowledge? Like we're idiots, like we're the dogs that their owners have put on Instagram to promote the show (paid promotion)?

You depend on what? For the audience to still care about dog stunts in S8? Dog stunts that don't get more original either? I've seen 30 similar takedowns in the last few years alone, what are you going to do, put Rex in space?

I'm angry, I won't lie. But hell, at least now everyone will know. You can't hide anymore, and that goes to the production, not the individual who had posted that drivel (unless they were not an individual in which case it goes to them as well).

You messed up big time. You took a good show, discarded half the reason we were watching and was influencing everybody else's storylines, decided he was irrelevant and unimportant, and decided to move on. And then you took it even further, kept the same title and put the surname on a guy you plucked from the street (as a character I mean, not as an actor). Disgusting, disgraceful, and dishonest are not enough to describe this. It's vile. It's spitting on the face of anyone who ever watched this show and ever cared for these characters. And all this for 8 episodes more. Because that's all you're going to get after that.

If they don't make any kind of announcement, I don't expect more people to find out about the fact that there's now irrefutable proof that the show is continuing without John Reardon (not that it was refutable for a while, mind you, some people just didn't want to look at the evidence).

So, it's up to us again, and I think that poster can work for us because as I said it's bad. It gives a bad first impression and when you're trying to convince the audience to watch something new, you're counting on those. Maybe it won't be the final poster. I don't care. Use it. I also made this.

Chimney saves Tommy's life

Tommy saves Bobby's life, therefore giving Bobby and Athena a chance to meet and for Eddie, Buck and Ravi to join the 118 under Bobby AND giving Bobby 8 more years during which he finds happiness again

Tommy leaves the 118 and is replaced by Buck

Tommy saves Eddie's life by dropping water on a burning house he's stuck in, after being contacted by Chimney

Tommy steals a helicopter to save Bobby (and Athena) again after being contacted by Chimney again, which leads to Buck and Eddie meeting him, which leads to Tommy and Eddie becoming besties, which leads to Buck being jealous, which leads to Tommy kissing Buck which leads to Buck figuring out he's bisexual

Tommy is Buck's only love interest that got Bobby's approval (and the only one that ever will)

Tommy shows up to help save Chimney's life, even after breaking up with Buck

Tommy is a pallbearer at Bobby's funeral

everytime someone who doesnt watch 911 makes a post abt it being like supernatural an angel loses its wings

no the show isnt queerbaiting you. 2/7 of the mains are queer. one of them has been married to her wife since season 1. they have two kids. the other hooked up with his gay will-they-wont-they situationship in his house this season. they were slamming each other into the walls and panting like dogs.

911 is not a good show. if it brings up an idea that idea will get resolved in that 45 minute episode. one of the characters said “[doubt] is like a virus” and then they cut to the beginning of The Deadly Virus emergency. buck got asked “are you in love with eddie” and stared directly at the camera when he said “no he’s straight and my best friend and it isn’t like that no matter how many people want it to be.”

I need people to be prepared for when they will announce Mark as Rex's partner or post a "start of filming" video or whatever. It will be demotivating, painful, it will feel like the fight is over, like a fait accompli. It's not. 

Regardless of whether Luke Roberts even has a contract for the full season, he will be there for the first two episodes either way as they were pulled from S7 and he must have had a contract for those two already (again, this is confirmed from casting calls, this is a fact). They might have extended it, might have not. 

Whatever their plans might be for the season, we must make sure they understand they're simply not feasible. Mark is not who's supposed to be there, and I'm sorry to Luke Roberts for the position he's found himself in but he's stepping in another man's place. I'm not blaming him for the situation but that's how it is.

We have a show, it's called Hudson and Rex, and we need Hudson back for it to continue. We need John Reardon back at some point in the season so that at least some justice can be restored. Charlie needs to come back to Rex, to Sarah, to the team. Otherwise there is no show. Might as well go watch The Littlest Hobo.

the cast AND the show have been explicitly telling you one of those men is very much straight for a year now. where is the baiting in that?

this show has multiple canon queer characters, including a lesbian couple that successfully adopted their second child in this very episode, and i’m frankly really tired of them being ignored in favor of y’all wanting a ship that literally nobody but other fans has promised you.
