I think everyone moved on from the ferals in afop to quickly. I can't imagine what its like to be disconnected from the world, angry at seemingly being alive and left to slowly wither away. Going out of their way to kill just about anything. The kuru is an extension of the nervous system so not only connection with eywa is lost but i assume some sort of brain damage.

This also strikes some curiosity in me about na'vi. Can na'vi become "feral". Like do they become irrational and zombie like. I imagine it depends on how damaged the kuru is. Na'vi could probably function for as well as they can, maybe headaches, seizures stuff like that. But to have the kuru completely cut off sounds horrifying, worse than death. Being cut from Eywa.

Varang and her two babies(don't say anything about the wing I gave up)

The boy, despite his young age, has witnessed the desperation and suffering that was cast upon his clan by Eywa. His mother, Varang, is the clan leader and will do whatever it takes for him and her people. Even if their means of survival comes off as cruel. The boy is expected to become Oloektan when he is ready, so Varang is very hands on, whether it's teaching him how to use weapons or taking him with her on raids or even taking a life. The world is harsh, and to survive it you'll have to be harsher.

Found this old wip of Varang. I gave her a young son so her and neytiri could be two sides of the same coin.

Varang is harsh with him because she wants him to be the next oloektan and further her cause. He is obedient and wants nothing more than to make his mother happy. I might give him a name idk. Their dynamic was inspired by Zira and kovu

Artsut said "clans" as in plural. Zumakana could be in another clan in the area. Her clan seems to be troubled as well.

Looking at pandora rising and saw that some na'vi don't have their clans listed so here are some headcannons about what clan they may be from.

Vineya of the Anurai (mostly because of her darker appearance)

Ruke of the Sarentu ( He likes to journey by himself and he wasn't present at the sarenu massacre)

Tioang of the Trrong ( him and Solek have the same backstory lol)

Seytawni tsahik of the Tawkami ( She holds a high position of power and influence within her village. The Tawkami love flowers and the tree of souls in the art has lots of flowers so yeah.

Neteyam was Neytiri and Jake's first born. His birth was a sign of healing, and things could be good again. He made them parents. He was their baby.

I'm interested how they will grieve him. I know it was said that Neytiri will be wearing Neteyam's accessories. I feel that Jake is the type of person to try to keep himself busy to distract himself. The death of their child, Quaritch being alive and more threats headed their way, I know their relationship is gonna hit some rocky patches, maybe even arguments. Marriages can't be perfect all the time I'm excited to see.
