Ik I said I really like the Wedding skin she has but I’m waiting a bit till then, a friend of mine mains Mr Fantastic so I’ll wait til they gets it.

In the meantime I got her the Malice skin! It’s very cool and honestly it makes her feel like a different character entirely

Her MVP is looks so cool! I almost wish this was a legendary honestly but this is one of my faves

So after some time playing both Loki and Invisible I came to the decision that Invisible woman is a tad more simple for me to use. Her sheilds, push and pull ability and spheres that she throws at enemies give me a lot of ways to put pressure onto enemies.

Also a silly reason as to way I might use her more out of fondness is that my brother pointed out how I’m maining another blond woman again

Reminiscing in times I would spam Peach’s moves on him. Miss those days lowkey.

But this means I’ll want to get her wedding skin as it’s my favourite outfit of hers.

Got Wanda to Captain!

This makes me one of the worst players according to either but I like how easy she is 😭

But this means I feel like I can try to pick up Loki to rank up, wanna focus on only a couple so I can get a lord icon faster!

In trying to move away from Mantis as my strategist main I found myself being appealed towards 2 characters, Loki and Invisible woman.

I like how both can allow you to exert pressure on the enemy team and the ways they can allow for healing. But in an effort to not play to many characters at once and get Wanda to Captain first I’m going to hold off on playing 2 strategists.

Which brings me to a question, which character would I get more value out of if I start playing? I mean in terms of team support and playing them right.

I want to have characters go to lord quickly so I just want to figure out who to specialize in first.

Well we did but only after 2 members switched to cloak and dagger and the thing 🥹 good on them I appreciate that.

I’m close to having Wanda to Captain!! I want to make it to a lord icon quick so I want to focus on a lot of play time on her, I’m aware that Wanda is a relatively easy character but I like being able dish out damage fast.

On the support end, I gave Loki a try and I actually had fun messing around with his kit, I like how versatile he is and I can really have fun placing his clones around. I also love him a lot from other marvel depictions most notably the movies so maybe I have a soft spot for him <3

I’m looking for a new strategist main since I want to let go of Mantis, I’m think it should either be invisible woman or Loki because I like how versatile their kits work but Maybe I should give Loki more of a try.

And on the cosmetic side of things he might have my favourite catalog of skins for the male characters. I might want to purchase the one designed by peach momoko! I love his looks!

It even makes me a little sad seeing Nanami all goofy with them too, although in my opinion I think Nanami adjusted the best towards adulthood them any of them, Satoru and Suguru demeanour wise are similar to when they were teens although and that seems very intentional as these were some of the best days for them.

I honestly want a whole season of slice of life stuff with them in their past 😭 I would eat it all up

AND JUST WHEN I THOUGHT THE COSMETICS IN THIS GAME WERE ALREADY PHENOMENAL

This weapon x skin for Wolverine is insane, it found a way to look so sleek and menacing

I’m almost a little disappointed it’s not a legendary but also relived because it’s more affordable to me.

Mind you I don’t play Him 😭 aesthetics play a big part of what I want to play

But honestly this skin is so cool and so sad they did such a good job

Sue might be my new strategist main as opposed to Mantis, her kit is very dynamic and she’s able to force opponents away which I like.

Also her wedding skin is so cute, I know a lot of people prefer her Malice skin but her wedding skin looks so pretty and I love the little MVP animation with her and Reed it’s so cute.

I’d love to get it ( sadly me every time with cosmetics in this game ) but I’m job hunting currently so that will have to wait.

The only thing stopping me from using her more is that I want to get one character to captain or even lord before I pick up a new one. And I don’t have a lot of time to spend on this game as not have my characters have made it to captain yet so I need to prioritize the characters I’m good at.

This is also kind of perfect timing to get into invisible woman as the fantastic four movie is coming soon and while Marvel movies for me haven’t been as appealing since endgame I still want to watch it with my sister as I like what I see in the trailers.

I’ve even won as her 4 times already :3 sounds like a sign!

These extras for Satoru and Suguru hurt me so bad 😭

He’s calling his mom 😭 this hurts knowing what he does later, Idk why but I can totally see him being close to his mother in particular but it’s sad that he killed his parents to further validate his ideals. It doesn’t make much make me wonder about his relationship with them even with this seemingly innocent interaction.

It makes me happy that he straight up told them he’d leave and that was enough because they’re only so above the other 2 clans because of his technique. But using it as an excuse to have a coming of age ceremony to flaunt power just so he can get into jujutsu high sucks.

And N**oya in attendance 😡 I wonder if he ever did attend Jujutsu high because he’s around Nanami’s age although he honestly doesn’t act as such.

I truly hope these scenes can make their way to the anime if they can I’d love to see them. More of them is always the best.

NAILS FOR MY BIRTHDAY RAHH

After practicing a bit more of the roster I’ve come up with characters I might consider maining in the future, I almost have Mantis at captain and will persevere to get her to lord one day, and have gotten comfortable playing Wanda and Squirrel girl. But I want to expand my pool of characters to use

First one is Johnny here, although strangely I don’t see why I don’t see more people who play him because he’s tons of fun in my opinion. I like how much control he allows for Aoe damage and for a flying character I find him a lot better than Storm to use. My only complaint and this is an admittedly stupid reason why I don’t use him is because I want him to have more outfits 😭 than I’ll consider picking him up not that his base design isn’t cool I would just like more variety, he deserves it.

Next oddly enough is his sister lol. Sue surprisingly does lots of damage in addition to supporting the team, I just struggle with combos so I find her a little intimidating but she’s fun when I practice as her.

And lastly are Peni and Emma, I’ve been the most disinterested in the Vanguard position however these 2 are genuinely fun to try out, and I happen to like these characters a lot outside of gameplay so I might feel I owe it to them to use one day.

Of course these are opinions I have of characters I never use outside of practice mode, tell me your favourite characters to use or how you’d recommend playing these 4.

WHEN I TELL YOU I ADORE THIS SKIN

This has to be Wanda’s best skin in my opinion, it makes for an amazing legendary I ran to purchase it this morning 🥹💕

I know Wanda is apparently a character Everyone doesn’t like to see ( Squirrel girl as well apparently what did my girl do ) but this outfit was enough justification for me to want to use her. Aesthetics influence me to such a degree yes 🙂‍↕️

Got Squirrel Girl to Knight rank along side Mantis! These 2 are my faves to play right now and I should probably invest more time into their ranks than playing others right now. Until a new character releases that I’m interested in I might just stick with these 2 for awhile.

But I’m glad I was able to get Psylocke this outfit! She’s a character I want to ensure I get better at before I actively play as her but I won’t lie I love her outfits alot!!

I do hope I can get Mantis this skin in the future though!

Cosmetics in Marvel rivals really excite me if you couldn’t tell. 😭 the base designs themselves are amazing but I truly do love the outfits they receive!

Once again posting more of my time on Marvel rivals!

Guess who fell in love with a character purely for aesthetic purposes again!

I’m now really comfortable with Squirrel girl and almost have her at knight ranked alongside Mantis! She’s very comfortable to use and she’s so adorable! AND HER SQUIRREL IS NAMED TIPPY TOES 😭 how could I stay away!

Don’t even get me started on her Summer skin! This is one of the cutest outfits ever I love her sm. I’ll see if I can get this as a birthday present since it’s coming up soon but I don’t want to have to purchase the whole bundle for the rocket skin, I’ll see what I can do.

For now those I’ll keep improving as her and have a fun time playing!

Congrats on your Mantis rank up! I’d consider Mantis my secondary, so I one hundred percent get the appeal. She’s just so cute and a lot of fun to play! (Even when balancing her heals gets hectic lol)

The Vanguard role is something I’m still learning myself since I’m a Strategist main for the most part, but personally I believe that you can turn any Vanguard into an optimal tank simply by learning the character and the best positions to take for your team. While some would say tanks like Doctor Strange or Magneto are the best picks thanks to how much damage they can soak up, I’d say it’s more about experience than anything, as I’ve had plenty of games with tanks that are considered “bad” and still got hard carried because they understand their character well. So if Emma Frost is who interests you, don’t be afraid to learn her first, as with enough time and practice you’ll be able to help your team no matter what tank you pick. From what I know, Frost isn’t a bad starting tank for someone new to Vanguard either since she can help you get a feel for both mid range and close range tank combat. That being said, it’s never a bad idea to get comfortable with a couple different tanks so you can better complement your team’s composition. For example, if you’re a solo tank, most people would tell you not to play a dive heavy tank like Venom, since that’ll raise the risk of your healers being left exposed to the enemy team, but if your team is comprised largely of other dive characters (such as Spider-Man, Black Panther, and/or Psylocke), you may find it best to be Venom regardless since the amount of pressure you’ll be able to apply to the enemy’s supports will have the enemy team focusing on you and your other dive teammates more than they’ll focus on your healers. To optimize your Vanguard gameplay, learning how to play a tank that does close combat (ex: The Thing, Hulk), a tank that does mid range combat (ex: Magneto, Emma Frost), and a tank that dives (ex: Venom, Captain America) would be best, but even knowing only one tank isn’t bad. A good tank is a good tank, and really any of them can help carry as long as you know how to watch out for your team and get the enemies to focus on you more often than your more vulnerable teammates. In that way it’s a bit like playing Strategist but without the healing, no matter who you play your goal is to watch out for your team and learn when to push vs when to stay back and protect. Hopefully you find this helpful even though I’m not really recommending a specific tank to play, and good luck with your gaming! :)

I’m planning on investing more time into my rank on Mantis before I try a tank out but this clears things up for me, I hope we have more strategist and vanguard characters to incentivize further interest in those roles for me but for know I’d say Emma and Cap interest me the most in trying out!
