I love the idea of Oz taking care of Oscar in general. Monster!Oz taking care of Human!Oscar, or Human!Oz taking care of Monster!Oscar. Either way it’s an adorable concept.

Okay so I’m putting Ruby and Yang as humans bc I feel like that just works for me. Yang could work as like a really big burly monster (kinda like Susie?), but I want Ruby to be a human bc it would make her noticeably stick out among her monster peers.

Oooorrrr maybe Ruby and Yang are adoptive siblings the way Kris and Asriel are siblings? Ruby is a human and Yang is one of those big monsters with huge teeth. Maybe she’s a little dragonic-looking even! Big ol mane of hair, big mouth with big teeth. Big pointy horns. Generally kinda scary looking. And then her little baby sister Ruby who is half her size. Yeah ok I like that better.

Weiss is a monster, which in this world is the majority species (I think?? I mean Kris is the only human in town so I’m just assuming). She’d be one of those anthropomorphic animal monsters, like how Undyne is a fish and Noelle is a deer. Weiss would just be an animal person. Maybe a swan or something equally majestic.

Blake is a monster too, but I think it’d be cool if she was like. A darkner.

Because obviously she’s got that “from shadows” thing going on, and it’d be cool if RWY meets her by going into a closet and finding the dark worlds. What object would she be though? Maybe she’s a black bow, or a black ribbon. I think that’d be pretty thematic. I’m thinking she looks like an anthropomorphic cat monster. Maybe she’s got some extra bells and whistles, like spikes along her spine or massively long claws.

I also like Human Oz. If we’re saying this au takes place in a hypothetical deltarune, and they all live in this small town together, he’s DEFINITELY the principal of that school everyone goes to. Him having a young monster son Oscar is also peak. I imagine him being something cute, but not as easily recognizable. Like Monster Kid, who just has no arms for no reason.

Nora and Ren are monsters for sure. Ren is probably an animal, but I can see Nora being some kinda weird electricity demon with six eyes lmao. Jaune could be human, but I think I’d be cooler if he was just like. A goat. lol. Pyrrha is a monster too, a strong looking one. Maybe she’s has horns? Idk.

Qrow and Raven are obviously both bird monsters, and I think Tai would look like Yang. I think it’d be cool if summer was a human, tho.

Ok yall LOVED this one. Here's another theory l've been chewing on.

Lotta people have the idea that Dess is the Knight, and some people have been talking about how Dess's body might be reanimated in the dark worlds the way that Gerson was in ch4. That maybe Dess's body is in the cellar and is being reanimated by the dark world that's in there.

Remember in ch1 when ur walking around with Susie and we go to the bunker and monster kid is talking about how Kris "weenied out" of going into the bunker one time?

Merging these things together Steven universe style; what if when Kris was was looking in the bunker, they saw Dess's body, freaked out, and ran home. Enter; Gaster or whoever is actually behind all of this coming to Kris and telling them about how the dark worlds can "bring Dess back" or whatever which is why they're in cahoots with the knight to cast the world into darkness/ make all light world into dark words or whatever
