It’s weird, because there are some words in my second language that I didn’t grow up with, that I’ve only learnt in the past few years, and yet somehow they seem as natural to me as my mother tongue. I can’t imagine not knowing them.
That blows my mind. But I love it.

It's always a very emotional moment when a new book comes out. "Partir sur une bulle" (literally "leaving on a bubble", meaning daydreaming or hyperfocusing) is my sixth novel, and that feeling never gets old!
It is the fruit of many years of research into the Cisgender lifestyle. Kids these days seem to be following a trend of identifying as the gender they were assigned at birth, so I felt compelled to write a story that would tell the story of one Cisgender, to grow awareness about them.
It tells the story of Cléo, a neurodivergent cis girl, who starts secondary school in a gifted program she was enrolled in because she effortlessly had the best grades of her class during all of elementary school. Her world crumbles when she finds herself unable to keep up with her classmates.
(Of course, there's also a trans character : Natasha, a karate enthusiast, who is, according to Cléo, "the most beautiful girl in the school <3")
Only in French for now, sorry non-French speakers!

Sometimes I’m hit in the stomach with how much I love my friend(s).
Other times I want to cry because so many of my friends are no longer my friends or have betrayed me.
Most of the time, I block out everything, because detachment is easier than anything else.

I visited a school a few days ago that was like that, only allowed girls to wear ankle length skirts and no trousers, and ties were “just for boys” and it made me feel sick. If I could, I would join your protest.
✨ feminism ✨
Recently fought against the ankle length skirts at my school in the form of a 150+ student protest 💪

saw this the other day and the question of what in the entire world it could possibly mean keeps me up at night
I think clearly supposed to be a tongue twister for you to try. Say it. 5 times perfectly fast.

Good lord thank god for my sister catching the item descriptions on the international orders
I nearly sent out ten packages to Europe labeled as “Explosive Material Hazard”
Updated them all to say “Enamel Pin” instead

Yeah, I agree. Won’t name names but I know that one person in her other friend group is… well I don’t know because I’m not great at reading this particular person, but she’s not happy.
Very close friend: I’M TIRED OF YOU ALL AND I’M GOING BACK TO MY BETTER FRIENDS WHILE ALSO DECIDING YOUR OPINIONS ARE WRONG AND THEREFORE I WILL BE RUDE AND HURTFUL TO ALL OF YOU
Same person a few months later: *appears to spend time with us again* I can’t be bothered with those other friends. *spends entirety of day getting really irritated and snapping at all of us*

Yeah. Yesterday break and lunch. And okay, I wasn’t having a great day so I was being a bit negative at lunch, which isn’t great I know, but she snapped at me at it and the reason she wasn’t spending time with the other group is because she “can’t be bothered” which is a direct quote.
