One thing I like to do for my players when I'm introducing them to a new game is provide them with player-kits, which I create on Google Sheets. I'm sure that others have created player-kits for their own games, but I figured I would show off some of the ones I've used in the past. If it's something folks are interested in, I might share more!

pendulum/deity/aura gif readings are open!
Tumblr media
What they are:
-The pendulum is used to give a yes or no answer to any question
-Deity readings are simple. I give you the name of the deity and what they rule over, nothing more. You can interpret it as who you should work with, who is watching over you, or what energy you should embody. -For aura gifs, I read your energy and pick a gif based on what I feel.
rules
-please reblog this if you can :) -two questions per person, you can mix and match -anon is turned off for the time being. If you want your answer to be private, please say so and I will gladly post it privately.
You can ask any question you want. Triggering questions will be answered privately. You can ask about a person, place, event, idea, or anything you can think of!
consider checking out my shop!

Witchcraft: Tools
Bones:
It is essential to find animal bones in an ethically sourced manner. Bones have been apart of us and magic itself always. These rigid organs are used in forms of offerings, animism, grounding, cleromancy, and osteomancy.
Charms:
Very dependent on the shape of the charm, many practitioners adorn their magical possessions with charms. (I.e a heart charm in a sachet representing romance.) From ancient Europe to Asia, jewelry and charms were tossed from baskets onto a soft surface for divination. There is also a process called charming, which is imbuing an object with a particular energy.
Coffin Nails:
Coffin Nails are utilized in witchcraft for warding, mourning, baneful magic, and death work in general. Coffin Nails represent the security of one’s physical body, as it seals us off from danger.
Coins:
Coins are utilized as offerings, charms, runes, and ways to honor deities and ancestors. Coins are also added to money bowls. Coins represent Fortune and Wealth.
Feathers:
Each Bird has a different magical significance, so the magical properties of a bird can be both interpreted from that as well as Color Magic. Feathers themselves embody the element of Air and are great for Cleansing.
Horseshoes:
Horseshoes have been hung over doorways for at least a few centuries. This tradition not only attracts luck and fortune, but wards your space from negative energy.
Iron Pikes:
Iron Pikes come from the railroads that trains run across. These Iron Pikes are often already rusted, and imbued with the intentions of protection and warding.
Keys:
Old keys have been used by many and have unlocked doors many times. Each time you use a key, visualize you unlocking and harnessing potential opportunity, closure, openings, journeys, protection, safety, warding, and security.
Leaves:
Leaves magically represent growth, transformation, nourishment, change, development, and can be used to draw sigils upon.
Seeds:
Seeds not only magically symbolize fertility, but potential, growth, wealth transformation, and fortune. One can use Nuts, Pits, Seeds, or Acorns in wealth, luck, and growth spells, or as a charm.
Shells:
Cowrie shells were once one of the most common forms of global currency. African traditions use Cowrie Shells for Divinatory purposes since Ancient times. Shells embody fertility, sensuality, wealth, life, and spirit.
Sticks:
Sticks not only embody the Earth, but can be used for Wands, Besoms, Crafts, or in place of bones in Osteomancy. You can use any kind of wood you like including cinnamon and driftwood.
Stones:
The gorgeous and delicate simplicity of one of the Earth’s greatest forms of matter not only provides grounding energy, but can be used and imbued for many other purposes as well.

Bundles are dried gatherings of sprigs held together and meant to burn to cleanse and infuse a person, place, or object with a particular energy This process is called Smoke Cleansing.
You will often hear mention of the term “Smudging” with “White Sage,” which are both closed indigenous recourses. For those like me, who are not indigenous, we have plenty of other options to smoke cleanse with. Below is a list to use for those who want to smoke cleanse appropriately.

Witchcraft: Candles
The spark of a candle can purify the air and can also be applied for divination. Candles can be engraved, anointed, infused, and beyond. They also are great for incorporating the element Fire. However, Please do not let your craft cause a fire. Be responsible with your flames.
Fire safety is an especially important thing to be aware of and practice when working with fire, candles, bundles, or cauldrons. I suggest keeping a glass of water around and placing the item you intend to burn on a safe surface. Keeping your cauldron on a plate, or bowl of salt is also highly recommended. Always put out lit candles before leaving it unattended or going to bed.
Tumblr media
Methods And Mannerisms:
Classic Candle Care:
Trimming your wick every time before lighting your candle can assist in a cleaner and softer burn, just make sure not to cut it too short. Other traditions believe that you should let your candles burn themselves completely. Different practices say to only use a Snuffer to put the wick out. If so, please be safe about it and take extra precautions.
Centering with Candles:
I prefer to cast a small circle, or set the space before I light the candle, and have the flame and warmth resemble the essence of solar energy, purification, and sacredness. This helps me center myself and set my individual intentions more efficiently.
Chromomancy:
Using color theory or the magickal meanings of colors, choosing the color or shade or your candle can be extremely beneficial in amplifying your intended effects.
Personalization:
If you desire to personalize your candle, you can Inscribe a candle with a Symbol, Sigil, Ward, or Rune to cast your intention. You can also Anoint your candle by rubbing it with intentions with oil. To anoint, caress upwards and towards you for attracting, and away and downward for banishing. Add herbs if desired.
Tumblr media
Classifications Of Candles:
Tea-Light Candles:
A tiny candle in a tin. This is useful for travel, secrecy, or budgeting. You can add sprinkles of herbs in the tin (beneath the candle) for a simple spell. Can often be found at the dollar store.
Taper Candles:
The classical and visually pleasing candles which have nothing keeping the candle contained. They can vary in height and width, but they are exceptional for embalming or anointing.
Pillar Candles:
These are long burning and radiant candles. They are usually tall and have a circular glass container. Can often be found in dollar and thrift stores alongside holders for them.
Wood-Wick Candles:
These sparkling and charming Wood-wick Candles provide grounding, gratifying, and gentle crackles as they incorporate earthly energies. The noise is soothing and the ambiance is fabulous.

Witchcraft: Crafting Spells
Did you know you don’t have to use other peoples spells? You, yourself, can create your own individual spells for your own purposes regardless of your experience level. Below are some basic tips for making a spell worthy of writing down.
Naming:
The process of naming a spell is completely optional and always should be. It is my personal recommendation that a Spell Name should correlate with the intention of aforementioned spell. Implementing a simplified summary of the ceremony itself into the title can also be beneficial.
Planning:
Constructing a spell will require planning. Taking aspects such as correspondences, instruments, location, and weather into account can amplify the spell’s effect as well. I recommend cleansing and charging your items before preforming it, and resting your self to be full prepared with optimum energy.
Timing:
In magic, time has its own correspondences ranging from segments of the day to Moon Phase, Weekly, Monthly, and Seasonal correspondences. If you are going to preform a spell, you can utilize timing for stronger magical effects.
Instruments:
Instruments can be very diverse in variety but can be chosen based off of the correspondence or use of a particular item. For example, If your intention was to attract abundance and fortune, filling a Chalice with liquid could suffice perfectly. You are always the best magickal “tool.”
Activities:
What are you going to be doing with your tools to cast this spell? Will you be using a chant, song, or incantation during this ceremony? For example, if you want to banish something. screaming while you are throwing, burning, or burying something is you adding your own energy and labor into this spell.
