Happy International Tabletop Day! . Klask is one of my new favorite games, I passed by it many times thinking it was basically tabletop air hockey but it's so much better. It's deceptively simple, but has a lot of strategy in it. There's 4 different ways to score,I love it!

I saw everyone doing their top 9 games and I thought I'd participate. I have to say it's a lot harder to narrow it down to 9 games than I thought. I picked mine based on how they get played and how much fun they are. Some games don't hit the table as much anymore, but man do they have some milage. ⚀There is never dull game of Resistance in our house. ⚁I do Mysterium big for Halloween it's become sort of a tradition. ⚂Settlers started it all for me, and I played the crap out of it with anyone who would listen. ⚃Pandemic showed me games can be cooperative ⚄King of Tokyo showed me yahtzee can be thematic and cool ⚅X-wing doesn't hit the table as much as I'd like but man is it a well designed game, and I nerd out over Star wars. ⚅⚀No Thanks is small, portable, easy to teach, and very fun for any occasion, even non gamers always enjoy themselves playing. ⚅⚁ I put Sushi go party, because we've recently purchased and started playing, but my fiance and I got alot of milage out sushi go just the two of us. ⚅⚂5 Minute dungeon is a recently new game to my collection but it's earned it place with its simple and engaging cooperative style. We get a little loud and intense, and genuinely feel accomplished defeating a dungeon. I think a game has achieved it's goal when you forget the outside world playing it. I was in the grey and my fiance was in the light blue. Game 1 was a close one down to the very end in which she made a simple mistake and I was able to capitalize on it for the win as Hermes. Game 2, I was worried because she drew Pan but his secondary win condition was a nonfactor as I didn't let her climb and finished the game rather quickly by keeping her stuck on the ground. Okay now I think we got the hang of this game. I originally bought this game because I saw everyone else singing it's praises on IG so I bought it for my vacation to Mexico. Only one problem we were drunk or hungover 100% of the time and could not wrap our heads around the concept we played and thought you won if you put a cap on top of the building or stood on top. PSA of the day, Ladies and gents don't try new games drunk!
