If you haven't been paying attention to what's happening in Gaza, you damn well should be right now because Israel is making noise about a planned ground invasion of Rafah (a city they've been bombing the shit out of for weeks now).

Rafah is at the absolute southernmost tip of the Gaza strip, right up to against the border with Egypt. A city housing approximately 1.2 MILLION displaced people, who fled south because they were told it was safe there. They are bombing the shit out of refugee tent villages that have no food, no water, no healthcare or amenities whatsoever, who have literally nowhere further to run—except to a different country as refugees. Many of these displaced people are CHILDREN.

Do you realize how horrifying that is?! How completely dystopian?? And chances are, it's your tax dollars helping fund this genocide while our governments lie and gaslight and lie and preventing life-saving aid from getting in. It's infuriating and terrifying. We should all be so angry and sickened about this.

Just imagine— all of this could have been avoided if they just did a reboot of the animated series. Imagine how gorgeous the animation would look if they rebooted it!! Like why!!! It's a genocide. Ethnic cleansing was always the goal. Listening to politicians go on and on the past week about how "we don't know if there's enough evidence to call it a genocide.... also KHAMAS..." makes me feel more than insane. We know it's a genocide. They know it's a genocide. There's so much evidence it's beyond damning. And a significant portion of evidence comes directly from the IOF (Israeli offensive force, since they are not defensive). They blew up Israa University a few days ago in a controlled demolition. They have bombed and laid siege to every single one of the 36 Hospitals that were in the Gaza strip, of which none are still working. for 2 million people. there has been no food or water or electricity or AID ALLOWED IN for THREE MONTHS. THAT'S NOT A WAR.

And for the love of god or whatever STOP with the "human shields" nonsense THAT DOESN'T VALIDATE KILLING PEOPLE. KILLING CHILDREN. ENTIRE FAMILIES. TARGETING MEDICAL STAFF AND JOURNALISTS. "HUMAN SHIELDS" HAS NEVER BEEN A VALID MILITARY ARGUMENT COLLATERAL DAMAGE. ENOUGH WITH THE BULLSHIT. Aside from committing genocide and stirring up genocidal mania through the intentional re-traumatization of genocide against Jewish people, Israel has shown everyone that the 'laws' of war mean nothing, and therefore has made the world a much more dangerous place for everyone! Hospitals and other life-saving infrastructure? fair game. Who cares? Not like anything's gonna be done to stop it. Way to set precedence you genocidal fuckheads! Wooo. I hate it here. Keep boycotting, since money is once again proven to be more valuable than actual living breathing people.

They are not people. You cannot "objectify" them, because they have no personhood to be deprived of. They have no humanity to be erased. You cannot "disrespect" them, because they are not real.

What to boycott NOW to help stop Israel’s unfolding genocide of Palestinians in Gaza

Reminder that boycotting DOES work, there is historic proof! Don't let anyone discourage you otherwise!

The BDS movement uses the historically successful method of targeted boycotts inspired by the South African anti-apartheid movement, the US Civil Rights movement, the Indian anti-colonial struggle, among others worldwide.

We must strategically focus on a relatively smaller number of carefully selected companies and products for maximum impact. Companies that play a clear and direct role in Israel’s crimes and where there is real potential for winning, as was the case with, among others, G4S, Veolia, Orange, Ben & Jerry’s and Pillsbury. Compelling such huge, complicit companies, through strategic and context-sensitive boycott and divestment campaigns, to end their complicity in Israeli apartheid and war crimes against Palestinians sends a very powerful message to hundreds of other complicit companies that “your time will come, so get out before it’s too late!”

i don't know what we should do but this is the last thing refaat alareer, who was just killed by a targeted israeli strike in gaza alongside his family asked for:
