hello! i’m new to the avatar fandom and as someone who was one of the first ppl to expose me to the content, how do u handle zutara hate? it might be my excessive need for validation but i always feel so personally attacked when everyone shouts in my face about how horrible they are, i definitely get that these shipping wars have been going on for years but with the live action it all feels like way more. so i guess im just asking how zutara fans do things thank uuuu Love ur fics <3

To be honest, I just try to avoid debates and go on blocking sprees when needed lol.

Like, yeah it’s annoying to see bad anti zutara takes and I definitely go on petty rants to friends about it. But at the end of the day I don’t have to convince anti zutara people of anything. I have my tastes and preferences, and that includes zutara

So yeah. Filtering tags and blocking annoying people is your best bet for avoiding dumb takes and comments.

If he is tye character I’m thinking of, then yea I think he’s a “villain”, as he still makes his choices. His mum definitely has a huge impact on the choices he makes though.
