I forgot to post this yesterday and free it from my drafts so I'll simply post twice today.

I finally got to go to the art museum! I mainly browsed the Ancient Mediterranean pottery section, which took a while since there was so much information to read about. I sadly didn't leave much time for personal reading. The greatest thing that happened was that I made steps in getting treatment for my medical condition. I should be able to start the treatment by February. I'm optimistic and it feels wonderful.

I don't know if I'll be able to post an image of my notes daily (since I only really have a need to take quotes for my science class), but I'll see what I can do. ┆➵ What I read today - Hymn to the Nile (translated by Rev. New year and I have decided to start a blog. Quarter three of the school year has begun. Right now I am just doing orientation for my school so there isn't much work I can do, but I am able to get ahead in my biology class so I am doing that. I had lunch in a pub and afterwards went on a walk downtown. I wanted to go to the museum but apparently everything here is closed on a Monday. C'est comme ça. I'll simply go on Wednesday when I don't have online classes.

My Mandarin is slowly improving. My vocabulary is very limited so that is my primary focus. I am adding 10 new words to my Anki deck a day and writing each character out 20 times in my journal.
