The problem I have with how William afton is written is that he’s written like the villain… and nothing else

To me, he would be a million times more scary if he was like… a person. Like I want to hear about his hobbies, not just making animatronics. I want to hear him interact with others and be. like. normal. I want to hear how people who LIKED him felt about him. He can be a polarizing character, yes, but he should be a PERSON. I should know shit about him other than the fact that he killed people.

That’s why I love the movie version of him. You see him just fuckin talking. Like he’s trying to show people that he’s a normal dude!!!

Imagine you have this coworker, and one day he just disappears and you find out that he killed SO MANY CHILDREN and STUFFED THEM INTO ANIMATRONICS. But like last week you just had a convo with him about the weekend

It is 100% scarier if he’s just a dude and not William afton, super genius and villain of the five nights at freddy’s story.

Sometimes I think about the fact we have never actually seen Henry and William talk on screen with each other. Ever. In any medium.

We see them talk about each other, we see hints of their relationship through described photos, we have other characters talk about their relationship, but we the audience have never actually seen these two characters who are defined by their partnership have a single conversation.

FNaF 2 movie has the potential to change this. It makes me ill.
