I love Brahms with all my heart.
The fact that Brahms would just carry around penny candy to give to children is fucking adorable. Like obvs keep in mind that such things in that time period weren’t creepy as fuck as they are now. It’s so fucking cute. And he was so sarcastic and brusque with adults and generally sucked at making friends im just??? Let me be ur friend Brahms. And he would take walks in the woods often and was inspired by nature I mean he’s great. And in the later part of his career he had like a ton of money but still lived modestly and would give it away to promising students and friends but it was all very secret he didn’t want anyone to know he was helping them out. Like. That’s adorable. How can you not like Brahms.
