I wanted to make something for Pride Month. No one is free until everyone is free.

having BIG sam thoughts rn and thinking about how the narrative and even the fandom obviously favorite dean and Sam sorta gets left out, how in the show dean’s anger is validated and his violence/outbursts isn’t heavily criticized, but sam can never show his anger or speak strongly of his opinion, thinking about how all of Sam’s relationships have to be “dean approve” (like ruby) while dean is allowed to have relationships that Sam disapproves of (Gordon), Sam is the religious one who PRAYS everyday yet all angels hate him and dean is the one they choose and the first angel he meets basically calls him tainted/filthy to his face, and all of sam’s friends love him but its Dean they favorite (Bobby, Jo, Cas, Charlie, MARY) and I just. Sigh. Dean was popular in school, sam was bullied, Dean is charismatic and Sam is tainted and bad.

Although, despite all this, the only person who’d choose Sam over everybody else is dean. Although they have tough moments, Dean shows over and over again how much LOVE he has for his baby brother how he’d choose him over everybody. The brother who could have anybody wants nobody but his brother. And I just. Love them sm.
