7x16 predictions/theories

i have seen a lot of theories about what is going to happen with seth and chenford in the upcoming episodes and i'm on break rn, so might as well share my predictions / theories:

About Seth: We all saw in the promo for 7x16 that Seth is going to mess up in a shootout. There was this picture floating around on twitter in which we see a rookie laying down while a t.o is right beside him on the ground. So my theory is that Seth gets shot in that shootout (the one we saw in the promo). This would make him the rookie laying on the ground and the t.o beside him would obviously be Nolan. Because he gets shot in the presence of Tim, Miles and Nolan, they all have to testify in court (which would probably explain the pictures of Deric and Eric in suits at the court)

About Chenford: I have 5 reasons to believe that something major is gonna happen in next weeks epsiode:

The title of the episode ("The Return") could possibly have several meanings to it. First meaning is that Seth returns. The second meaning could be something to do with chenford.

The writer of the episode is the talented Moira Kirland who gave us not only 7x06 (aka the gala episode) but also was a writer and consulting producer for Castle! So I have no doubt she will do the couple justice. Source: The Rookie Wiki

3. The lack of screentime they had in the promo despite being a part of the synopsis, which usually means that their scenes are too important to spoil so early on.

4. That little BTS clip we got of Eric and Melissa on Valentine's Day shows them in Lucy's room (seemingly studying for the exam). We already know that there are going to be distractions for Lucy (confirmed by Alexi in an interview) while she prepares for the exam. Although we won't get to know what those distractions might be until next Tuesday, there is no harm in speculating!

5. Screeners such as Max and Matt (who write for TVLine- and hence get to see the episode before us) along with Deric have tweeted that this episode is going to have hits after hits and is one of the best episodes in s7
