Marga just stood there, continuing to rub her forehead a little, and trying her best not to cry. It was so hard, though. She was already so scared, so alone. Koumei had kept her company for this long but he wasn’t Titus. She wasn’t where she felt safe and comfortable. She was in a scary strange place, and though it did seem sort of exciting, the fact that she had been grabbed and taken here without even getting to see Titus first had left her unable to enjoy herself much at all.

Somehow he’d slipped from perfect posture to slouching to leaning on his arm, barely even awake. It was almost peaceful until a sudden noise caught him off guard and his elbow slipped, head knocking against the table.

"No, that will be all..." He just had to gather up all the papers he had knocked over, or at least make the mess look intentional. "Please thank her for me." He frowned, rubbing his forehead and glancing to the ground to search for more papers while trying not to seem too obvious about it.

  "R-right, of course," he nodded, stepping into the Prince’s office. He frowned a little at the sight of the mark on Koumei’s forehead, but he didn’t want to point it out. "I have some papers from Princess Hakuei here… is there anything you need assistance with while I’m here?"
