On the positive side:
They want me dead, and yet I live.
I love I eat and breathe
I make art and attend shows
I learn and study and research
I live in defiance of them, I live in spite of how exhausted I am
I continue to find joy and love
I will continue to, and I will never end my life in response to how much they want me to be gone.

What kind of future is this? What kind of life? I feel stifled by the things I've had to give up-- by the ways I've swallowed my pride over and over to preserve what we have. I put my love on a shelf, like you asked, and there it will remain, but it hurts to leave it there and never allow it to bloom again. For our sake, and the sake of all those who love us I must leave it untouched. But its presence scratches at the back of my mind daily.

when you let go of people you are painfully seeking approval or love from, you return to yourself. you return to what feels truer to you and to what brings you happiness. you are reminded that life does not always have to feel bad, that you do not always have to feel like you aren’t enough, that what you want for yourself and your future goes beyond a single person’s regard of you. you notice the energy start to shift and flow more fluidly. pay attention to all of this.
