In reference to my last drawing of Eddie feeding pigeons:

Found some neat stuff. Reference photo of a cat with some pretty metal accesories. AND I found out there's a whole series of metal musicians with their cats! The reference for this one is Travis Ryan, vocalist for Cattle Decapitation (which totally slaps btw).

Excerpt that comes with the photo on the website:

This one was fun. I really connected with Eddie's character (I was a pretty big metalhead back in the day).

Fun fact, I used my own patch jacket as reference for this drawing. Not many people understand the pain of sewing these on without a sewing machine. I stabbed myself countless times in my quest to look metal AF. I used to have more things on this, but at some point I cut off the sleeves (for maximum coolness obviously) and I don't know where the rest of the patches went.

Unfortunately, my bullet belt was tossed by my parents, and I had to trade in my Ibanez bass in for car parts.

Man, I feel old.

The romance we missed out on. Putting his (breathtaking) looks aside, I found his character so compelling and left me wanting more. 

If only we could steal him from Arasaka the way we stole that engram.

It started as a basic sketch, then I was like:

- “I could make a whole comic strip!”

- “wow this is going great”

- “WOW I HATE THIS IDEA FUCK THIS I’M JUST GONNA STICK TO MY ESTABLISHING SHOT OTHERWISE THIS BULLSHIT IS NEVER GETTING DONE”

- “you know what, this is fine. Everything is fine as-is. Fuck it I’m posting this shit.”

Maybe I’ll go back to and finish this strip someday, but today is not that day~

First drawing I finished in years. I wasn't too happy with it, but I figured putting it out there would be therapeutic in a way. The alternative would be letting it catch dust with all the other abandoned pieces.
