Iris and Yuri bring me such unlimited joy just seeing them together. They deserve the world. Free them from The City.

The inexpressive, workaholic, overly-curious gal who never looks out for herself with the girl who struggles to push forward on her own and cares about others to a fault. One seeking the answers to everything but both seeking answers about themselves. Torn apart time and time again as much as they try, because nobody in The City is allowed to find that unbridled happiness without dirty hands.

They deserve a happy ending and that’s why I’ll always give them one in art. But also oooough their story in the confines of canon…ooooo doomed yuri how I love thee

Very silly thing that’s happened by accident, but I write LCB! Iris as someone who talks with a lot of emotion while drawing her with fairly flat expressions constantly, and that kinda ended up working with how I write her? Every other character gets their physical expressions described, but she really doesn’t outside of extreme moments of the occasional curious twinkle in her eyes, so I like to think her tone and verbal demeanor just juxtaposes her constant :| face.
