After 6 long years, I finally completed my last graded assignment yesterday for my degree. I should be happy, and yet I feel completely hysterical. Its not even from relief that I finished something so enormous.
I’ve spent the last few weeks emailing as many local galleries, museums, universities and heritage sites as I can find, and getting nothing in response. I’ve toured job sites and come up empty handed in my field, and I’ve looked again for anything that requires a degree but most also require experience. I feel so defeated and sad. It feels hopeless.
I feel as though I’ve spent the last 6 years working so hard for something that is ultimately meaningless. Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone come out the other side?

15/01/2023 - Sunday
Happy new year everyone!
It's been an awfully long time since I've posted here, but as I've said before; the grind don't stop!😤💯
My last year of university is halfway done already, and while it hasn't been as easy as I'd have liked, and I havent got the grades so far that I'd have liked, the wheels keep turning!
I hope you are all doing alright despite the tough times atm with the cost of living crisis here in the UK and elsewhere.
Keep your chins up and your brains working, we'll change the world one day😌📚

quick question did you learn your latin nouns nominative-genitive-dative-accusative-ablative or did you learn them nominative-accusative-genitive-dative-ablative. Apparently there’s barbarians out there who have been taught the latter

04/11/21 - Thursday
Took a picture of the sky this morning at the bus stop, it was very pretty and made me feel good to be awake and present which is rare...😓
Also we got a book in at work that I really want to read! Has anyone read it and can recommend?😊
Sitting down to study after work today is proving really really difficult because it's so dark early now and I'm exhausted from my job, but onward we go!
Academic grind dont stop📚💯

03/11/21 - Wednesday
Had a bit of a disaster yesterday so couldnt post, but my official day 2 of keeping myself accountable is here!👑
Lots of secondary sources to analyse today, so I've set my desk up ready with a gentle lofi playlist on in the background. 5th year studies are so much more independent than previous years, I'm finding it a little hard to adapt after so long of being told what to do and read! Anyone else have a similar experience?
Hope you're all having as brilliantly sunny of a day as I am, and that your studies are productive😊📚
See you tomorrow - for real this time!🍂

01/11/21 - Monday
Beautiful late afternoon study session today, totally obsessed with the cool autumnal sunshine on my desk!🍂☀️
Studying has been really slow going atm, just so hard to get into the swing this term, anyone else feeling that way? Thought I would take matters into my own hands and try to post regularly to keep myself accountable, hope it helps🙏📚
Wish me luck, and see you tomorrow!
