Saw some good news/bad news about "Rings of Power" last night and starting with the good news. Amazon revealed that it's still their most watched show ever as the numbers for "Fallout" came out and it's now ranked 2nd, surpassing "The Boys". Even with that supposed completion rate it still holds the record. But the bad news is that Fellowship of Fans got attacked on various social media yesterday for sharing the latest comments from one of the show's directors Charlotte Brändström from a recent interview. All she said was they're trying to make the show their own thing and to be different from the Peter Jackson movies, which makes sense as it's an adaptation. That's normal for IP that gets multiple adaptations and each one will be different from the others. But they had to turn off comments as they got so much hate towards them. It also makes more sense why Amazon has chosen to be so quiet with the marketing as if a fan account is getting attacked like that we know the official show's accounts, as well as the cast/crew, are getting it much worse. But I'm not going to let that scare me from posting with the marketing finally starting at the May Upfronts and the show finally airing again this fall. We're allowed to be fans of something and we need to go back to if you don't like it don't watch or engage with it if it upsets you so much.

Not sure how I had no idea about this till now but just saw Netflix revealed Nicole Kidman's new movie with Zac Efron "A Family Affair" is out June 28th and he's playing her love interest and there's a love triangle. Then remembered that Nicole's got another movie "Babygirl" coming out either later this year or early 2025 with Zac's "The Iron Claw" co-star Harris Dickinson where he's playing her love interest and there's a love triangle. I think it's so funny especially with Zac and Harris playing brothers in "The Iron Claw" and now being in weirdly similar movies (though Zac's is more rom com, Harris' is more romantic thriller). And also since I'm a writer/author and seeing "The Iron Claw" and me getting back into watching wrestling I'm currently writing a love triangle story about a girl torn between two brothers who are in a tag team, so this is some really weird timing. LOL 😏
