Heyyyyyy, lol. I'm gonna keep OOC posting on here to a minimum, but here's some extra info. Will update as needed.

Etta is a minor. I, the person behind this blog, am not.

Etta's reasons for hating Geeta are personal and she is incredibly loud about it. I the mod dislike Geeta, but I do NOT dislike people who like her. If she's your fave, I'm glad you got something out of her that I couldn't!

Etta's father is Larry of the Paldean Pokemon League.

Etta's mother passed away in childbirth, leaving a distraught single father to raise her.

Larry pushed himself so hard to provide for Etta that he ended up in the hospital due to exhaustion when Etta was nine. He was perfectly okay afterward, but was pushed by both doctors and Etta to quit handling the business affairs of the Paldea Pokemon League. He remains a Gym Leader and an Elite Four member.

Etta used to blame Larry for never being there for her, but since his hospitalization, she has transferred all of that anger to Geeta, viewing her as the sole source of every single problem in her life.

I have a long planned storyline for Etta. We're gonna see if I can work my way through it all before the hyperfixation inevitably dies down and I start doing other things. Until that story is finished, I the writer am going to keep OOC talk to a minimum, as this is meant to be Etta's blog and her thoughts, not mine. After the conclusion of that story, though, I will be much more open to talking OOC about the character and other things on here!

The Story So Far....

She intended to beat the Paldean Pokemon League to defeat Geeta and put a stop to her, but it backfired horribly and ended with Etta's champion title being revoked. (The Treasure Hunt arc)

After Etta ran away to Alola for a week to hang out with Ex-Team Skull, Geeta used her position on the school board to have Etta expelled. (The Alolan Escapades arc)

Director Clavell pulled some strings to get Etta enrolled in Blueberry Academy instead, and arranged for her to stay there a week as a 'test run' for fall. A rivalry with Kieran ultimately ended with the two of them working together to stop an attack by Team Rocket on the school. Almost being burned alive by a Houndoom has left her...traumatized. Just a little bit. (The Blueberry Blues arc)

Now Etta and Larry are in Unova for the time being.

I’m Galarian-Unovan, but I’m also descended from a Diamond Clan member from Hisui! We moved from Driftveil to Paldea for a change of scenery.

Yes, I have a weird red Cyclizar. Professor Sada (yes, that one) entrusted him with me. I’ve decided to give it the nickname of ‘Fangs.’ He does not battle. Do not ask him to. The other one belongs to @sunflowertrick.

Yes, I’m the one who’s in a ‘war’ against Team Star, and beat up that giant Bombirdier. I’m fine. Just listen to me when I say to stay out of areas and you’ll also be fine.

NO, I did not summon Chairman Rose onto here because of a misinformed crush. I do not condone nor support what he did, I just wasn’t aware because I busy being kidnapped during that whole mess.

Anyways- when I’m not researching or battling, I like to bake! I’m really good at Poffins! I also enjoy learning about history and legends, and Pokémon ecology. In fact, I aspire to be a Professor when I’m older.

I currently have two Paldean Badges, but I do have others. These being;

I’m not the best at battling, and trying to re-learn how to have fun with them. So don’t expect me to be amazing just because I have a few.

aaaaaanyways, besides the basic DNI’s for the other blogs (no NSFW, no bigots, no harassment, just none of that kinda stuff) here’s some little details to keep in mind with Oleana:

While she’s only here to do research on the mysterious stone (Wishing Star) she found and it’s connection to the Dynamax Phenomenon, she’s also here to make friends (per her mother’s request). Feel free to hit her up whenever, she (and most of the time, I) will very likely be awake.

Her parents have a… rocky relationship, so she’ll post about that sometimes since it can disrupt her studies (and it makes her really anxious.)

Oleana is half-Galarian and half-Unovan. Because headcanons are fun.

Please don’t directly tell her about her future in SWSH. Small little jabs or hints are fine though!

Her birthday is March 21st.

Since we don’t really have a specific time or year for most Pkmn games (besides like. RBGY being set in 1995/1996 if I remember correctly), I’m just gonna have this set in vaguely in the 2000’s. <3

She’s a closeted lesbian. She felt some weird feelings about a girl she met in school before beginning to be homeschooled, and a few Google searches later, she found out what a lesbian is. She’s unsure how to broach the subject to really… anyone (much less her parents), so she’s just stayed quiet about it since then. Despite that, feel free to flirt with her girlies :3

She likes lots of music, and will share it. This is pretty much me sharing music I like but shhhhhh-

Oleana will be a bit standoffish towards people who aren’t talking to her about her research, but over time she’ll slowly warm up to others.
