so how would someone who keeps throwing up everything be treated in hospital? i guess dehydration would be a big concern but what else would be done? and how could someone help them before they might need a hospital?

In a hospital they’d treat the person with IV fluids to correct dehydration and anti-nausea meds to stop the vomiting. The meds could be given IV or they could be given as a tablet that dissolves under the tongue.

If fluids and anti nausea meds didn’t work, they might do some imaging (probably a CT scan) to see if there was a blockage causing the vomiting and if so, put a tube from the nose to the stomach to drain the stomach. This would rest the digestive system until the blockage resolved or they resolved it surgically.

Inspired by this lovely art by @alex-van-gore I am deeply annoyed with how advanced medicine is in the world of Murderbot I think what Murderbot needs is some good old barbaric healing without usage of cubicle to teach it to act much less reckless. Enjoy seeing the body. Enjoy seeing the skin, I wont show them often, and I am showing it here only because I wanted to show it vulnerable exposed and scared. Demobilization and healing pains What happened here? Shattered bones, broken knees and need for few replacements within the semi artificial flesh.
