it has been about a year, so it was time to revise some of these designs (this will not be yearly thing)

thought this was gonna be quick until i realized ive only ever drawn four of them (some designs are a work in progress)

pearl and cleo have fundamentaly changed after limited life, pearl found a family to fight for, finally laying dawn the title of lone wolf while cleo, who maybe hasn't changed much personality wise, has turned human, very clearly flesh and bone since last episode

lizzie in secret life, is an outsider, almost like she's taken over pearl's curse of loneliness, gem on the other hand thrives as a zombie, or so it seems at the surface, only time will tell if the massacre was worth its price

so maybe the body and soul imprint on each other, maybe you can't split the two exactly without leaving bits and pieces disarranged, maybe lizzie and gem took pearl and cleo's defining traits after limited life

maybe months from now, when everyone has forgotten about zombies and betrayal, rendog will awaken with an unfamiliar fury consuming him from the inside out

Scar is the type of guy to have a scar on his face, several millimetres deep and still healing, and when you ask him how he got it, tells you it's from his silly cat, Jellie. Two days later you notice another small scar, ask if that one's from Jellie too and he tells you it's from the scraps of a grenade that was throw at him in the war.

Joel and Etho would be aweful if they visited the relationship ranch. 

There’s a reason they are the only soulbounds (that aren’t divorced) who haven’t tested their relationship and that’s because their whole bond is build on messing around and untimately dying.

Joel would let the goat intentionally hit and then Etho would just book it to the closest cliff to jump off in retaliation.

Neither would leave the booth even at critical hearts, one would pick up the snow and replace it on repeat to taunt the other and then they die because playing with snow on half a heart is a 1IQ move.

They might have the drop in the bag since they’ve been freefalling half their series, altough Joel would defeinitely water bucket himself out of habbit.

In conclusion: they’re terrible and deserve each other
