“I know lots of people complain about the fandom portrayal of Chuuya but canon Chuuya is a dumb hothead who can't let Dazai go if you look at his actually canon appearances. Don't get me wrong, I love him as the smart canny exec too, but 90% of his canon appearances is him being recklessly aggressive or outright stupid (thanks Cannibalism). He probably is smarter and doing things behind the scenes but what we've actually seen is closer to the aggressive idiot than not.”

“Mori is more than just a pedophile; he’s a great, well-written villain, and he should be more appreciated for that”

“I have to say, I find that the relationship between Kouyou and Kyouka is very underrated. Not just in the fandom (why is there so few fics and arts about them), but also in the manga. Yeah, I KNOW, at first Kouyou was seriously manipulative and projecting her own experience and trauma onto Kyouka. But it was also very clear, from the start, that she genuinely and deeply cared about her ; now she’s finally learning to do it in a proper, healthy way. But Kyouka ? Right now, I can’t recall even just one moment where she showed any feelings about Kouyou, be they negative or positive : it feels very one-sided, which is really odd and sad for me because Kouyou was probably the one who took care of her right after Kyouka’s parents died. Damn, it even feels like Kyouka has more consideration for Akutagawa !”

“I love making crossover theories. For example, I found out BSD is easily combined with Makai ouji: Devils and realist. Sitri and Atsushi are cousins and Raguel is literally Dazai except a little less of a prankster. There's a lot that could be done with those series if the cast met and the only reason I didn't create any content for it yet is my fear of working hard on something that won't be noticed at all.”

I really love ChuuArt (Chuuya Nakahara x Randou/Arthur Rimbaud) as a ship and it is my main and ultimate OTP. No matter how much people may try to say otherwise, it really is a beautiful, wholesome and positive ship built upon pure compatibility (unless your mental image of Randou is the one given to us by the anime rather than his actual one in the novel, of course).

It’s so sad that so few people appreciate it and that the ones that do often get so badly bullied and labeled as terrible things by those that like to hate on it and give it a bad reputation. Nonetheless, I love it, and if you love this ship or even just support it, too, then I love you!

“It kind of saddens me that fanfic writers get so little attention in this fandom unless they write for the most popular ships out there. Fanartists get way more attention and while I'm glad for them, people like me who just can't draw for the life of us but spend tens of hours on fanfics deserve some attention too. It gets really frustrating when a friend's 10-minute doodle gets 50 notes within minutes from posting while my 3k words fic struggles to get to 10 hits after weeks of being published.”
