About "FEAST."

Burners is the 5th band Nathan and I have been in together, and the 5th band Alan and I have been in together, and when we started this band, the 3rd band all three of us have collectively been a part of (with our current band Bodyfather, we're up to a total of 4 bands together). When we all played in Benard in 2006, Nathan would come to practice early and he, Alan and I would write the most technically insane, spastic, and generally showy instrumental double-time punk songs we could. Our original plan was to be "The Don Caballero Of Punk," and while that sounds pretty ridiculous in retrospect, we wrote some really cool and interesting songs in those days. We ultimatley called it quits when I joined Die Benny with Nathan, and everyone juggling three bands became too much of a hassle.

When we decided to start being in a fast band again, we were really a band for about a year and a half before we even started playing shows. We wrote and recorded a demo EP with our buddy Tres on 2nd guitar under the name Cut Teeth, but then that band on No Sleep Records came out and Tres decided this band wasn't for him, so we became Burners, and finally started taking the band and songwriting seriously.

Feast is the debut EP from Atlanta, GA’s Burners. Featuring ex and current members of Campaign, Jena Berlin, Bodyfather, Benard, Mose Giganticus and way, WAY too many others, Burners maintain an independence from the members previous bands, while still referencing the aggression and defined style that make up their past personal musical discographies. Recorded in 9 hours on June 2nd, 2012 by Kevin Sellors, Feast blazes through 6 songs in just under 15 minutes, never relenting in tempo or fervor. Recommended for fans of Propagandhi, Title Fight, Glass and Ashes, and Slayer.
