Song Review: Sierra Ferrell - “I Could Drive You Crazy” (Live, 2025)

Sierra Ferrell isn’t kidding when she sings “I Could Drive You Crazy.”

And though the fiddle-based infatuation/love song obviously is referring to mental anguish and sexual satisfaction, a 2025 live version captured on video brings a third element, audience euphoria, to the table.

Sawing away, singing powerfully with her voice from country music’s distant past and with her band kicking in and laying out at all the right moments, Ferrell is the very essence of charisma on this ballad from the mountains. And the audience responds lustily, whether to Ferrell’s wordless vocals, the band’s precision stops and starts or to the enthusiasm Ferrell and her colleagues bring to the stage.

It’s “Crazy” all right - in the best way possible.

With 'Animal' by Miike Snow as soundtrack, Losey worked with visual effects firm Framestore to shoot 2D cut-out animations and a live 3D environment.
