maybe my favorite part of the pitt is how it addresses implicit biases in medicine and society. a south asian woman doctor recognizes a black woman patient has sickle cell after she's been mistreated by the paramedics. a doctor with an autistic sister is able to help a patient on the spectrum after another doctor is dismissive. one doctor challenges another over whether she fat shamed a patient, and if that bias hindered her judgment. a doctor confronts her older, male boss about prioritizing the safety of a teenage boy who's made threatening comments to girls, rather than the girls who may be harmed. a handsome white male asshole doctor who's been a resident for four years is stealing drugs, and the young woman asshole doctor is the one who realizes it (they've both acted like jerks, but shockingly he gets more leeway from viewers). idk man it's just nice to see actual wrestling with the intersection of misogyny, racism, fatphobia, and other issues in the medical profession. also the doctors are hot

Bout to punch a nurse

One of our patients at my job has severe brain trauma and has severe damage to their gross and fine motor skills due to a bad car accident and now they live in long term care. They can lift only one arm and can't control where it goes sometimes

This one nurse was in the wrong place wrong time and the patient accidentally lifted her shirt when stretching their good arm.

She grabbed their hand aggressively and told them she's had enough from him today.

For something that they can't control???

Later I was bringing my cart through the hall and the patient was blocking the way. I talked to them and told them kindly I had to get through. They stuck their arm out meaning they wanted a hug. You can’t pass through that hall without a hug from this person it’s their way of saying hi. I gave them the hug and then they let go. I asked permission to move their wheel chair and they let go of the wheel on the chair. Plain and simple communication that got them to comply because I treated the patient like a human being and not some animal.

And people wonder why I wanna go into nursing. Reasons like this.

Then he gets wrapped up with the winter soilder and everyone thinks bucky is horrible because he was the face of the winter soilder. All bucky wants to do it live a normal life and forget about all his trauma. The only times he has really helped the avengers was in endgame and in FATWS but he only helped in FATWS because he didn't want the government having the shield.

He is not a superhero.

The captain America 4 movie is about captain America.

I originally kept this private since we were once friends, but since he has decided to pop up again, I’m done. Fuck off, John. LEAVE ME ALONE. I told you to LEAVE ME ALONE multiple times.
