just thought i’d say hi cause i noticed a couple of new people following me on here & interacting with my posts. so yeah. hi. hello. welcome to this space. idk how y’all found me but however that is, just know that this blog is strictly xz and wyb. i do updates, gif edits, cpns and occasional opinion posts.

i may not be as responsive as i would like to be cause i’m busy with work + life. and i tend to overthink sometimes what to reply that i just stay silent. lol. but i am consciously trying my best to respond, cause i respect people’s time & effort in saying something. i appreciate it! i see you!

the things people manage to dig up and connect to cpn is impressive. 👀👀👀

once upon a time when xz was still a private citizen lol he reposted and answered a question. it was asking what are the two warmest words and it gave a bunch of choices. he answered the first one:

i’m here.

there were other choices like don’t be afraid, i understand, i love you, good night, i miss you etc.

i think it says a lot that he chose that. it’s so on brand for him, cause he said before that if he likes someone then he will constantly be there. it’s the infamous stuttering xiao zhan in front of wyb ( and well lots of people too cause it was fanmeet ) video. i have always loved how after that— he said he will not express himself directly. by being there with the person, it’s his way of testing it first. and with the way we cpn things, they do make a point of visiting each other if they can. and even if they are not together physically, they constantly communicate.

the coincidence is wyb’s single is called i am not here. which may be the complete opposite of the statement xz likes. but we all know that the lyrics tell you what it really means:

so yesterday we were clowning about i’m here and now yibo-official just shared a behind the scenes of sorts from that period. oh. okay. thank you for paying attention to our clowning and feeding us some content.

why the number 8 is xiao zhan’s number.

well. initially….

cause in the cpf fandom and i guess in the circle in general, 8 is Bo. which is yibo. but there were a lot of 8s in xz’s life before he met WYB. coincidence or fate? who knows? 🤷🏻‍♀️

In 2016, Super Star Academy started script reading on 3/18 with 8 teenagers starring in it, and his role was a (disguised) Leo. x玖少年团, he is number 8, started hatching eggs on 8/28, XZ previewed on 9/8, officially debuted on 9/28, and held the full nine on 10/28.

XZ’s debut trailer is 38 seconds. At 21:08 on 9/23, the official debut live broadcast platform was announced, and at 21:28 on 925, the number of ticket grabbers was increased. On 9/28, the debut day, Xiao Zhan's single-camera thank-you audio was 28 seconds; the official blog released the debut group variety show plan at 18:08, which was 38 seconds long.

On the first day after debut, the group variety show Xiao Zhan's personal preview was released at 18:08. After debuting, the second round of previews for Xiao Zhan, at the 18th second, he caressed his number 8 affectionately.

X玖’s first album has 3 songs, and the third one is called "Eight Methods of Yong Zi". The official blog started the preview at 12:08. The next day, he himself transferred the sound source at 11:38.

The second song "Boys", the official blog posted the first show video at 20:48, and released "Light Waves of Love" at 13:48. The first song is called "In My Own Name". Devil Timeline : GG and Web before the official meeting.

Disclaimer that this is All CPN and nothing is really proven. As with all these things, feel free to disagree. Don’t crack your head open thinking, we’re all just clowning here. some info on here are taken from different sources and others I added in. 

What is this timeline/theory all about?

This CPN is all about them liking each other as early as 2015-2016. This is different from the love at first sight theory from 2017 & with them keeping in touch till they meet again in 2018. Part of this speculation is that they are ex-boyfriends. Also that Web was punished (what for and if this is even true, we don’t know.) by his company in 2016 before hosting Day Day Up. I don’t buy the ex-lovers part/punishment. My take on this Devil Timeline is that they were lowkey fanboying each other or have a crush on e/o. Where they in contact or have they met? Yes. possibly. 

Plus, It’s not too outrageous to believe that they know of each other. GG is a koreaboo and he most probably heard of UNIQ. Web on the other hand, most likely heard of XNINE. 

So where are they between 2015-2016?

GG joined the reality program x-fire in 2015 and went on to debut with xnine on 2016 as the main vocalist. Notable acting job was superstar academy. Web on the other hand, was busy with UNIQ. Promoting in Korea, China, Thailand, Brazil and Japan. Notable in 2015 was the release of EOEO. In 2016, he joined the cast of Chinese Odyssey part 3 and was also announced as an assistant host for Day Day Up.

hey, is ggdd’s dragon boat festival dinner recognised as their ‘date’ by turtles?

Some turtles view it as their date, others don't. I don't really think about it in those terms. To me it's not the dinner itself, but the circumstances surrounding it that were 👀.

Fake, fan fiction, CPN.

We have BTS and background info that makes this story interesting and very sweet.

The day of the supposed date, among the scenes that they were filming that day was the one where GG had mud on his face, and DD tried to gently wipe it away. It is one of my favorite BTS scenes because of their bickering, and the way GG looks at DD with his gooey eyes.

They also took the zongzi promo photos that day.

There was a moment in the BTS from filming that day, where GG and DD are talking between takes and GG is going on and on about the various foods he wants to eat, and about wanting to go for Japanese food (starts at 0:36).

There were tons of rumors circulating at the time claiming that DD was dating a woman (invented lies as part of an anti campaign I'm not going to go into here), so he was being constantly followed by paparazzi and gossip sites who were trying to capture photos/info about this rumored 'girlfriend'.

Then gossip/pap sites saw DD's assistant queuing up for hours to get a table at a popular Japanese restaurant, and they got all excited and staked out the situation in hopes of grabbing photos of DD's 'girlfriend'. Instead what they saw was GG and DD getting together for dinner.

Now, just to be really clear because this is a fact often left out of the story by BXG, but it was not just GG and DD at that dinner. The producer and director of The Untamed were also there. So it's not the 1-on-1 date that a lot of people think it was.

There are claims that DD didn't return to his hotel that night. The paps who were following him lost track of him and didn't see him again for the rest of the night.

GG posted some pictures on Weibo that evening with kadian 2018 (love you Yibo). In the photo he is holding some zongzi, wearing the same clothes he was wearing at the dinner with DD. Fans believe the photo must have been taken by DD.

DD showed up at the airport the next day wearing nearly all the same clothes from the day before (he was also seen with the white Nike bag for the first time, the one that he wore until it was so dirty and battered that fans started commenting on it and he changed bags). There is speculation that he spent the night at GG's hotel.

DD had flown to Changsha to film Happy Camp that day, and everyone commented on how cheerful and sweet he was throughout the episode. Fans can judge for themselves.

Of course, no one knows for sure what happened, but the airport walk of shame in the same clothes from the night before was pretty 👀 as far as I'm concerned, and it seems like a pretty significant event regardless of whether it was technically a date or not.

A lot of BXG believe that June 22nd is their anniversary, and this is one of the reasons why (fans were trying to come up with a reason why GG and DD often kadian 622, and one of the theories is that it is their anniversary date). The timing of it being close to that date leads some BXG to believe that this was the day they first got together.

I go back and forth in my mind about when I think they got together. I think it's likely that they were together long before then, but the idea that this was the true beginning of their relationship definitely makes a sweet story.

BJYX Song #1: If I Were A Song

I decided I want to start writing about my feelings about different songs since I love analyzing lyrics so much. The first one will be “If I Were A Song” by Yoyo Sham. I feel like this song is not as talked about as others (i.e. Nan Hai, Wuji, etc.) 

This title of this song was posted in a memo by gg on 6/22/18 that he use to reply to a post from 2015/10/7 that said “Some words should just be kept in your heart”. 

The memo is timestamp at 11:28 (28 = ai bo). Also, I’m guessing he wrote this at night so 11 is probably 11pm so 2328 (ai/love zhan, ai/love bo). Okay I’m going to exist out of delulu kadian land.

 We don’t know what happened that day but we do think 622 is special for ggdd because for their 2019 birthdays, both gg and dd deleted and added post, respectively so that the birthday post will be #622. 6/22 is also 4 days after 6/18, where we know gg and dd went on a date to a Japanese restaurant and dd was seen in almost the same outfit the next day at the airport (walk of shame 🤣 jkjk). No one knows what happened on 6/22 but maybe this song can give us some clue?

Doesn’t this memo sound like gg is describing his love to dd? He’s mentioned before that he admire dd the most because he’s always true to himself, unaffected by the industry. The “youthful spirit” that’s “full of passion” who can live “freely” sounds exactly like the person that gg thinks dd is. It also sound exactly like the person gg wants to be himself, or the person he’s on the inside that he doesn’t want to change because of reality, the cruel industry, and age. This memo also tells us that no matter what changes in the future, gg is sure of his feelings at this moment and this warmth that he feels or is willing to give will never change. The last line tell us what song he’s referring to so let’s begin.

The song is by Yoyo Sham in 2017. It’s not a super popular song that everyone will know. But the mv is simple and artist. The full translation of the lyrics can be found here. 

Overall, the song is about how one loves someone so much that they are always there for them and supporting them. I always feel like that’s the relationship gg has for dd. He show his love with caring and protecting him instead of grand romantic gesture. He’s always his #1 fan in the background, always cheering for dd when he dance. He’s always the first one to stand up for him when others talk bad about him, rebutting haters on the Internet about dd’s role as LWJ. He’s always the first one notice new scars on dd and find ways to protect his health like asking to wear knee pad, drink warm water, or take herbal medicine. You can also see that dd relies on gg. After a lot of Internet hate and not seeing each other for a long time, dd started crying when seeing gg in Thailand. Overall, the relationship is very “homey.” People even joke that it’s like a mother to a son.

Gg talked about how much he admire that dd stays to his true self and isn’t influence by the industry even though he’s been in the industry for four years. I think this line correspond to his love of dd’s true self.

你可以在我懷裡坦白    赤裸 (You can be in my embrace, honest and bare)

Here is the detail of the “home” that gg is providing. It’s one that allows dd to be his most genuine self, naked, bare, honest, and straightforward. We see dd as someone who’s already straightforward but here, it’s almost like gg is telling us that that’s still not exactly who dd is and part of him is still pressure to hide his true self. It’s also possible that it means that while dd is trying his best to express himself, he’s still afraid of how others see and judge him.

我們可以瘋狂    流汗    再脆弱 (We can be wild together, sweat together, and then be fragile together)

Here is a list of things they can do together. The order matters. Wild refers to their bantering and when they have fun (xxj). This also correspond to gg saying that before dating, you need to “play/have fun” with the other person first. Sweat refers to perspiration they put into their career. Both gg and dd are very diligent people that puts a lot of themselves into their work. Similar to Wangxian, I think that’s their core value that they share with each other the most. And then the last part of this line, after 1) being wild 2) working hard, we can then be 3) fragile. Why is fragile last? Because you can only be fragile in the most private moments. The first two things they do together are what others see from the outside. But the last one, being fragile, is something they can only display to each other behind closed doors. 

我是你的家    也是你的旅程 (I am your home, I am your journey)

I am your home + I am your journey = I am your everything. When you want a stable, loving base, I am there for you. But when you want to travel and explore the world, I will also go with you. The home here is not a literal place, but rather the security that gg can provide. Likewise, the journey here is the future that they must endure together. 

我們一起抽離    卻真實    又深刻 (We both depart from reality, but also authentic and profound)

I think this original line is talking about how the two people both depart from reality together and ascends into a romantic cloud, but also that their feelings are genuine (the word 真實 = 真情实感, the same word dd use to describe true feelings about The Untamed) and grounded. However, I think we can even interpret the “depart from reality” as gg and dd leaving their true selves and becoming WWX and LWJ in the drama. This line is saying that while they’re both not themselves, they feelings they share are still authentic. 

你也應該把我放開 (You should also let me go)

你知道你隨時都可以回來 (You know you can always come back)

我們因彼此而自由    而存在 (Because of each other, we’re free and we are here)

When I first heard this part, I was kinda hurt by the letting go part. But the more I think of it, the more this actually becomes my favorite part of the song. It’s saying that their love isn’t trapping or binding each other. It’s almost as if gg is saying that it’s okay if you leave me, I will still be here for you and you can come back if you choose. This part make me feel like this song is gg’s expressing his side of love. This is the part that makes me believe that this song is about how gg feels for dd but dd may not know about his feelings at this point. 

“You should also let me go” can also be gg’s way of telling dd not to be insecure about his feelings. We can see that dd is very clingy towards gg, always trying to get his attention. I think part of that comes from dd’s insecurity when it comes to gg’s feelings since gg isn’t as straightfoward. However, here gg is saying that you should not be afraid of letting me go because I will always be here for you and we’re free because of each other because we chose to love each other. 

我是那個你不常打開的盒子 (I am that music box you rarely open)

永遠在原地等待 (Always waiting for you here)

等你回來聽我重複這旋律 (Wait for you to come back to hear me repeat this song)

就這樣    幾分鐘    一輩子 (Just like this for a couple minutes, forever)

Gg said before that he thinks “waiting” is the most romantic thing in the world. This part, similar to before, is saying that gg is willing to wait for dd if he’s willing to come back to him. The last line, “for a couple minutes, forever” means that he’s willing to wait, even if it only takes a second or even if it takes eternity. I love the extreme juxtaposition of this throughout the lyrics. It’s almost as if the singer is giving the other person the freedom to choose whether they want to be together right now or much later. It’s even more touching than just “I will be here forever.”

In summary, I think that this song express gg’d love to dd. That he will provide a safe environment for dd with his love and that he’s willing to wait for dd to give him whatever dd will want at the moment. I think at this point, dd doesn’t know about gg’d feelings because this song seems very “one-sided” (not that gg’s love isn’t get reciprocated but that it’s more about what gg can give dd). 6/22 is probably when gg became very certain of his feelings for dd and solidified it in his heart. This is the moment he decided he will wait for dd’s wishes in order to determine their future together.

This is probably the most romantic song I’ve ever heard, more than Nan Hai (sorry dd). I may do an analysis on Nan Hai later if I feel like it. Even if you don’t read this post, I highly recommend the song.

That Dragon Boat Festival date

On June 18, 2018, Xiao Zhan and Yibo filmed this little video to mark the Dragon Boat Festival. I love how Yibo, a master of body control and coordination, who performs impressive feats of physical prowess regularly, cannot seem to catch the zongzi properly in the presence of his Zhan-ge.

Later that night, paps tracked Yibo to a Japanese restaurant, where he'd sent his assistant to wait in line. The paps were hoping to catch Yibo with a girlfriend... but caught him meeting up with Xiao Zhan instead 😂

After dinner, Xiao Zhan posted to Weibo, wearing the same clothes he was wearing in the paparazzi photos.

and it’s probably pure “coincidence” that he is posting it at the last day of LOZ airing. the time is also sus 11:33. 33 = zhanzhan. tho i have to say weibo posts are more kadian conscious than international apps. then at 12:00 xzs shares a goodbye post to the character of zanghai. the other said “Hi” and one said “Goodbye” 👀👀👀

this also follows their (usual) trend of when one stops with their promotion, the other will begin. ✌🏼

this month is relatively slow — which is fine because it gave us some time to relax and enjoy the content that we have. especially gg’s new drama! anyway, the side by side photo i used in this round up is one of my faves! they always look good in matching long hair! 🥹🥹🥹

this month, we also witnessed the birth of wei ruolai x ren shaobai pairing. i swear, the yizhan AU universe keeps on expanding! but it’s not our fault that the characters they play match up so well. some are even pairing this new character with ye mi since it’s all about spying. and since we have legend of zanghai release, it’s only logical to pair zanghai up with baili. they have so much in common! they are not physical people — meaning no martial art skills but rely more on their intelligence. they also love to build things and solve puzzles. they are both trying to make their way through court politics and outwit their enemies! what a power couple! there were also so many good edits made by fans with them.

• the fact that WYB’s side will mostly be quiet during XZ’s LoZ broadcast. and once he is done, i’m pretty sure we will get WYB content. lol. idk man. this coincidence has been going on for years 🤣🤣🤣

• their studios posted a douyin on the same day with the same BGM

• this OP shared someone they know what in hengdian the time they were filming CQL. she was confused who the male lead was, cause they were always together. lol. they would both ride an electric moto around the shooting grounds. XZ was in the passenger seat of course, behind bobo. Some wanted to ride with Bobo but he said no 😂😂

• “humans come from nature, so we must go back to nature.” << XZ said in this interview. awwww. i love how both of them love nature and would rather spend their time outside exploring!

• XZ made a promotional message for Henan culture lol. but he is from Chongqing. well it’s fine. he is their son in law after all. 😉

• since i am a baili x zanghai truther! it’s so fun cause they both got appointed by the respective emperor in their timeline. people put this side by side! what a great pair! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

• i’m seeing some cpfs sharing side by side videos of bobo’s acting and xz’s in loz. tho i understand why this can be cpn, i’m personally sensitive when comparisons about their acting come up. they have their own styles and path in their career.

they are two different people. i know it’s easy to forget that and make connections here and there because it’s what we do. we are sensitive to it. however, i hope cpfs become more self-aware of how this can come across. they are both professionals. they take acting seriously. maybe it’s just me. but i find it disrespectful and shallow to say that they “copy” each other acting wise. 🙃

April 2025 CPNs round-up ❤️💛💚

the start of the month was actually quite eventful, celebrating april fools with the best clowns in chinese domestic entertainment. lol. it started with a double fake rumor which was bits of old rumors pieced together. then as usual for this day, fansite team building happens. meaning, fs for specific celebrities will post about other people. so we supported ones that posted about our boys. a good summary of those are here and there is a good number. whether that’s bjyx or them as individual.

that led to bojunyixiao being on top of the hot search list. this is so fitting for april fools! knowing how much we clown! lol. but seriously, it’s so nice to see how active the fandom still is. the whole fandom has been summoned by the photos shared. there is really nothing new — but we all got excited. that’s how great cpfs are! so sorry ( not really ) to our haters cause we are not going away anytime soon. 💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻

“last two days in shanghai”: A completely fake series of events typed up by a cpf. 🤡🤡🤡

well, i think the title of this post is disclaimer enough as it is. lol. i’ve initially talked about this here and here. this will be about the events that happened after the second link. so it’s the morning of the race and there are videos of wyb and xz here and there. i am actually slightly changing my stance on xz’s intention. i think he wants us to know that he is there. enough to be photographed leaving his hotel and nothing else. the usual plausible deniability card he and yibo are so good at.

so let’s start with a run down of events: we all know yibo won. by 5:00 PM we had videos of WYB’s win already. it was a happy affair. then around 8PM we received news that WYB is nominated for Huabiao Awards. after that, we got some talk of XZ attending Stefanie Sun’s concert at around 9:30. this was later confirmed by videos and XZ posted about it himself so much later in the day. please note that the 9:30 time when was the news made it to the internet, when it actually happened was earlier.

now here comes the clownery-interpretation.

no one knows where xz is after he left his hotel. yibo already won by 5PM, tho there was still time in the podium. so was that enough time for him to attend Stefanie Sun’s concert? absolutely. please see below:

so proximity wise. it’s very possible. there are also talks of how xz came in late. some attendees said he was there during the 3rd part of the concert, and was seen leaving the audience section before the program ended. well, i’m thinking he might have already been there, backstage or whatever VIP section earlier. people only learned he was there when he came out and stefanie mentioned him. this is his idol and his fandom lol so i would imagine that he wanted be there on time. tho being a bit late is okay too cause he still had to spend time with his champion racer boyfriend 🙄🙄🙄😤😤😤 there is a repo from a concert goer that he left around 9PM. yibo on the other hand was seen leaving the track at 9:30. so coordinated!

xz was again spotted returning to his hotel at around 11PM. so it is possible that xz watched wyb’s race, watch the concert and they still had time to go celebrate. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

XZ being spotted at a concert is the perfect alibi of sorts. he can say he was there to attend the concert. but if you look closely and observe the time, there is a huge window that is unexplained. Of course i’m not removing the fact that XZ did want to go. this specific concert is to celebrate her 25th year anniversary as a singer so it’s really special and any fan would surely want to watch. but it also happens to line up perfectly with bobo’s race.

now i’ll quickly run down a few cpns floating around……

first is how the caption is formatted, it’s so similar to yibo’s birthday post

the photo of the nutcracker that he shared was during the song 真的 ( really ). maybe he just liked how it looked but the song itself is pretty telling. if we are talking about this and interpreting it in the CPN context. that weekend specifically, they both had to go through a lot to spend time together. but they did. love is not always easy!
