I am really proud of this one. Drawing an ape is harder than i than i initially thought before starting this, it's a nightmare to paint fur, and an even bigger challenge is making sure it doesn't look like a man in a Bigfoot costume.
ANYWAY, the Caesar trilogy is one of my favorite movies of all time, and I may or may not post something tomorrow.

Almost done reading Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: Firestorm (my e-book says it's 80% through). Koba's backstory is so SAD. He was such a nice bonobo. We never saw a baby Koba, like we did with Ceasar. I needed to put the picture in my brain on paper...

everyday i think about how much caesar suffered in war and his unbearble pain. Guilt ate caesar so bad that he never really wanted to be in this world without his son blue eyes and cornelia while koba lived with his trauma until the end, he was lost soul but is still a victim. May they both find peace.
