I was growing out my nails (for Omen purposes) but one of them got a rip and I had to cut it completely. so. here’s some writing tips for if your character with long nails suddenly have them cut short

- Being confused when pinching something because of phantom limbing their no longer existent nails

- Not clenching their fists tightly because they expect poky nails

- Just a bunch of phantom limbing. So much.

- Making more typos than usual because they have to readjust

- “My fingers look naked :(”

- Scratching extra hard because the sensation isn’t as sharp without nails

- Momentary confusion upon looking at their hands
