the curse of adhd:
i will remember with absolute clarity, when the thought strikes me that i have a text to send someone, that this is the fourth time in three days i've attempted to send this specific text
i will forget, in the time it takes me to pick up my phone, that i picked it up intending to send a text

Welcome to the Funhouse
Our system, Abstract Endurance, is gonna be running this as we try to get to know each other.
Dont ask about our traumas, if we aint shared it we either don't know or aren't comfortable talking about it. Also don’t ask how many of us there are. “Enough.” or “why? You a cop?” Are likely to be the only answers you get. Any other questions are fair game.
relationship: closed polycule
sexuality: pansexual
religion: I believe in a universe that doesn't care and people who do
age: Existential (but not yet midlife) Crisis
Quote for thought: Truth is without flourishes or manners and runs with a logic all its own.

We're also proud a' the strengths we get from being neurospicy honestly. Just try to look at it as anything else in life. Love the pros hate the cons. S'what pushes us to keep working and improving.
i really don't get why people act like "hating your disability" and "being proud to be disabled" are opposites. i hate the inconvenience and pain and discomfort and isolation and not being able to do the things i want to do. i'm proud that i'm still truckin along anyway, and that i'm part of such a resilient and vibrant community.

Relearning How To Think: A ramble :)
I don't really know if we should be sharing this. I'm just personally feeling like I'm learning to do so much basic shit all over again. Its terrifying and wonderful.
It only gets more confusing when bleedover happens. Scary in a "well that's new" kind of way. Rather it feels new? Sensations I'd become utterly desensitized to now have completely different meaning. Facts about me being reexamined under a microscope. I love being alive, I am genuinely enjoying that aspect of this. I just wish I had more time, more time in front, more processing power.
I'm... we're happier than we have been in ages though, stronger too. That alone makes it worth it.
