Things the Thames/Hunters will (probably) be surprised by Cale:

Cale being surrounded by dragons that basically adopted him

Cale being friendly with elves and the World Tree

Cale not only have a grip on political influence in the west, but also basically owns the mercenary and underworld of the east

Cale having his own personal oceanic trade route

Cale having talking ancient powers that can give him firsthand account of the ancient times

Cale casually carrying around multiple divine items

Cale being acquaintance with saints/holy maidens and probably almost kinda not really a saint himself (we'll see)

Encountering gods is not a weird thing for Cale

Cale has travelled dimensions, multiple times

Cale had fought hunters despite never personally meeting one

Cale can talk with his dead mom (or at least a piece of her)

...Honestly i never really consider how absurd his life is until I'm making this post.

My Thoughts About Cale Stabbing Himself...

Despite the hype about Cale stabbing himself and bleeding and fortunately/unfortunately(?) not fainting or falling out of conciousness...

If I were in Cale's family's shoes then, it would absolutely be the most traumatizing and wretched sight I would ever see or experience in my life.

I don't think that I would ever function right after seeing someone I deeply appreciate and love, stabbing themselves in the heart in order to kill someone for the sake of the rest of the world, it's... It is only right for the rest of Cale's gang to be utterly disappointed and devastated at the risky and perilous action that Cale had just unknowingly performed for everyone to see.

Even I, a passionate and loyal fan of Cale, is terriby upset.

We really had it easy as fans you know?

Imagine if we were really characters inside the novel and not knowing Cale's true and honest monologues and the secrets he had kept from everyone. I am absolutely sure that it will be tragic.

As readers, we were too absorbed with the other character's reactions, we were too excited about this particular scene that was eventual, and forgot that this is really not the case at the very moment.

Reading Choi Han's thoughts and his actions, that part, that part truly broke me unlike when Cale stabbed himself.

If at first it was only shock and surprise, everything just became blank when Cale stabbed himself and killed white star, once Choi Han came to the picture and knowing that the 'weak steps' that Cale heard belonged to him... It's...

This really destroyed me.

I can't wait for the next chapter and Cale really needs a TALK.

What if the CJS that died saving KRS was reincarnated with memories or lives in another body like Cale on another earth? And Cale (KRS) and some of his companions end up on that earth with help from GoD, chasing after some strong individuals (hunters and/or A God or God's like the God of Despair)?

What if Choi Jung Soo is reincarnated to Earth 3 ( it would be a great place to send him I think lol) he will meet his other self and LSH and others that had died in his past, and even meet his KRS (the KRS he saved and died for, that he saw as family, a brother, and the KRS of that world and Choi Han)

Oh, and also, On my fic, I'm a little stumped lol. The novel doesn't go into detail of KRS time when monsters appeared before he is saved by LSH. If someone whonread the novel as well remembers, maybe someone can help me with ideas and shed some light on that? Didn't Novel say KRS was found on rubble and trapped or something and LSH saved him? I read it not that long ago but u have very bad short term memory lol I like how I started into the part but I'm not sure how to proceed in first chapter of fic

I started a fic for TCF (Trash of the Count's Family Novel) that is a WIP. It will have plenty of Angst lol 😆 hehe. I hope KRS character isn't OOC at all. It's still a WIP but I have some content, I hope TCF readers like it so far. Short Fanfic/Rewrite mashing of Scenes from Chapter Summaries 759 & 760 of TCF (Trash of the Count's Family) 《 MAJOR SPOILERS》

-Cale, did you know that it would end up like this?

Super Rock asked.

Cale did not bother to answer.

Super Rock gave the answer instead.

-If you block that red light with your shield, White Star will defend himself with the water wall in the meantime. And you will have to spend time blocking the Sword of Disasters and wind walls.

Cale tightened his grip on the dagger.

-Why are you using less of your ancient powers?

-Why are you so calm and relaxed now?

-Why did you pause for a moment, leaving one step between you and White Star? There must be a reason.

Super Rock spoke a little sadly.

-The best way in this current situation is to dodge that red light and avoid both the attack and defense of White Star.

Avoid everything and reach White Star.

-You have to be fast.

Cale could be that fast.

White Star thought as he moved to straighten his body that had leaned back.

However, he could not finish his thoughts.

It stopped.

For a moment, he felt that time had stopped.

He felt that way.

Stab!

Cale stabbed his own chest with a dagger. The sharp blade of the dagger pierced deeply through the beating muscle that was his heart.

The agony that tore through his body, his heart, was immensely terrible. The Tree had spoken the truth that it wouldn't kill him but maybe the Tree had believed it wouldn't cause him pain? That was clearly wrong. Haa...

He didn't hesitate and acted swiftly, ignoring the agony of such a normally fatal wound was causing his heart.

Schwaak-

The dagger which had deeply stabbed Cale’s heart was immediately pulled out. Cale did not know, his expression was twisted into a pained grimace nor did he know that others were still watching this scene closely.

The white and black dagger was brightly shining with the blood of Cale.

In an instant. Cale’s time had slowed.

But for others, it went faster than ever.

A lot of things happened in that short moment.

A very short moment that was less than a second.

Cale took a step forward and did not waver.

Thud.

The diary fell to the floor.

The leaves surrounding Cale and the whirlwind had all disappeared.

Tear-

Cuts appeared in the hand of Cale holding the dagger.

Blood gushed out of the chest where he had pierced himself through the heart with the dagger.

But the only thing in Cale’s eyes was the faint ring. He raised the dagger high.

Cuts then appeared in the skin of his leg that took a step forward.

The dagger that stabbed Cale’s heart. His blood flowed down the blade, coating in a wet crimson red.

Bathump. Bathump. Bathump.

Cale felt the dagger beating.

The dagger was beating like a heart.

And the beating coincided with Cale’s heartbeats. The immense pain was still there, yet slowly ebbing and fading away with each strong beat.

The dagger that had been in a state of suspension was awakened and beat along with Cale’s heart. The

And the heart that contained regeneration and healing. The heart moved according to its master’s will.

Cale’s hand moved.

The weakest and most worn out point of the largest ring. The point where it passed through the right collarbone of White Star.

Cale thrust the dagger dipped with his blood towards that point.

‘What’s going on?’

An instant. It was a really short moment for White Star whom he was facing.

At the time he suddenly saw the bleeding Cale Henituse reach in front of him and wondered what was going on.

“… Aack…”

His world turned upside down.

His voice was not loud.

A small groan came out of his mouth.

He looked down.

A red dagger stabbed his collarbone.

It was originally an insignificant attack that would not even be considered an injury.

But why?

Riiiip-

White Star heard a sound as if something was being ripped apart.

He could not see it, but he realized it.

Because his body lost its strength and his vision shook.

He stretched out his hand.

His trembling hand rested on the hand holding the dagger.

The hand of Cale that was holding the red dagger was also bleeding and trembling.

White Star stared at Cale.

Before he knew it, Cale’s red eyes had returned to normal, and the bleeding Cale said to White Star with a calm expression.

“It’s over.”

That was all that he said.

Cale thought of his colleagues who were still taking the test while bringing a hand up to his chest where the wound had been, that had just completed closed up and the pain was still an echoing throb for it had mostly faded.

Just the memory and sensation made him wince and rub his chest with a frown as stared down at White Star.

‘The others are not out yet?’

They were later than he expected.

Cale knew by now that he had heard the stones blocking the entrance to have been destroyed.

“Ha.”

Huh?

“…Haa, ah-”

…What was that? The sound of crying?

Cale listened as he could not avert his eyes because he did not know when White Star would stop breathing.

The seemingly weak voice definitely did not belong to Clopeh.

“…Choi Han?”

No answer was heard.

Still, Cale calmly spoke.

I have to be calm.

First, I need to know what that guy saw.

“When did you arrive? I didn’t sense it.”

At that moment, Cale heard Clopeh’s voice. Cale's lips twitched.

“It was a heart-pounding moment, so I guess you didn’t hear it.”

Cale seemed to know what expression Clopeh had as he spoke in a voice that seemed to be deeply impressed.

But he did not want to see that guy’s face.

And with that same dagger that was coated hin his life blood, he killed White Star.

Her eyes seemed to darken at those two short sentences.

At first, she thought that the sealed god was giving people the most terrifying illusion. But the moment White Star fell, she knew this was reality.

A short moment.

What Cale did in a very short period of time was the most noble, beautiful, and saddest thing that Litana had ever seen in his life.

Cale still stood firm in her eyes.

Even though his body was covered in blood and his heart was stabbed, (and again the image of his pained expression that seemed to show the agony he was in haunted her)-

He was alive.

“…Is he human…”

Countless emotions passed by, and it was awe that was left in the end.

After that, she could not say anything more.

It was a situation where not even a scream or shout came out.

She was very, very, very surprised.

And her heart ached.

Lastly, her heart felt heavy at that unknown turmoil she felt.

But she knew that she was not alone in this feeling.

The surroundings were quiet.

None of them made a loud noise.

There were no cheers or screams, only quiet muttering from time to time.

After that, she could not say anything more.

Perhaps it was because of where Litana and the representatives or leaders of each country were located.

As soon as Clopeh appeared in the orb, Litana and the other leaders headed to the temple. The moment they climbed the steps of the temple, they were speechless at the sight they saw.

“Why! What’s going on!”

A young voice was then heard.

“I couldn’t see because the crown prince covered it!”

Nyaaaaao!

Meow!

Raon, On, and Hong looked around the place that was noisy but had suddenly turned quiet. Because Alberu Crossman had blocked their way and obscured their view all of a sudden.

Then the children raised their heads and hurriedly looked for Cale.

“Gramps!”

Raon grabbed the hem of the old dragon, Eruhaben.

“Hey, gramps. Why is my human like that? Why… why… why-”

Why is he bleeding like that?

Raon could not even bring the word ‘bleeding’ out of his mouth. So he quickly said another word.

“Gramps! What the hell is going on! My human looks fine now!”

“Noona.”

The kitten Hong curled up and grabbed On.

On did not say anything as she looked into Cale’s condition.

His whole body especially his chest was a mess with blood, but there were no tremors in his body, and his complexion was fine. He did not stagger as he stood straight, and his eyes were clear.
