Happy Women’s History Month, Tumblr! 🎉

For the past few years, Tumblr has celebrated Women’s History Month by honoring women who have continuously shaken up our world for the better. We’ve highlighted prominent women in their respective fields, signal-boosted those who were working for or speaking up about a worthy cause, and showcased incredible artists who deserve to be seen.

This year we’re doing more of the same—just a little bit differently. This year, we’re making a concerted effort to give the microphone to women of color, indigenous women, trans women, immigrant women, women who are refugees, and all other types of women who face the effects of marginalization more than others.

Not all of us experience the world in the same way. Life experiences, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexuality, immigration status, and so many other factors can determine how the world sees someone. We hope our interviews, celebrations, and all the other highlighting we do here on @action will allow you to see what it’s like for someone who may live a life that looks much, much different from your own. In continuation of our year-long #BlackExcellence365 celebration, we’ll be shining that spotlight a little more brightly on Black women.

Summary: A chance meeting at the bookstore Bucky and Steve both frequent regularly pushes both out of their comfort zones and into the realm of what if. The pull between the two of them is undeniable, and it's ridiculous they've never run into each other before.

When Bucky sees the life and passion in a pair of eyes more beautiful than the Blue Marble, he realizes just how much he's been missing in life outside of his work and family responsibilities. Maybe he's too fucking young to have a predictable, lonely existence.

Steve recognizes a man with a wild side that's been buried under responsibility for far too long. He's intent on cracking open the perfectly crafted shell to find the man and passion underneath.

One thing is for sure. Life always seems to have it's own idea.

“Are you fucking kidding me?” She flung the blankets off her head and fumbled for her phone. She and Steve were on call for two more long days, and the past week had been practically nonstop Hydra Bullshit in the middle of fuck all nowhere. The rotation worked well, not just in theory, either. It gave the Avengers and elite agents the “time off” they desperately needed and deserved when there wasn't a full scale threat. This week had just been balls, plain and simple.
