So...
When I left my last job and in my previous post it seemed I might be out of call centre hell but I might be heading back there with a different job since I’ve been unemployed for a couple of months now since the job I was going to in November didn’t work out.
So… Possibly more doodles from the work desk to come, we’ll see

No more Call Centre Doodles :(
So this marks the end of this little sideblog project of mine. I’m changing jobs and as such won’t be posting anymore.
This blog started February in 2014, with me finding loads of my doodles from notepads I used to take down notes while speaking to customers on the daily, and since I liked them, wanted to collate them in one place and share them with others who may have wanted to see what goes through my head while selling to disgruntled customers.
Seems it’s just geeky stuff really, and a lot of this blog is the same few characters I enjoy drawing (Chun-Li, Phoenix, Harley Quinn, Juri Han, Storm etc) but there’s some cool stuff I drew that I like, looking through the archive.
I started my job in the call centre out of necessity - being on jobseeker’s allowance post-university, and feeling depressed. I was forced into a manual labour placement unless I wanted my payments stopped, and I stopped being so selfish and took any job going.
This job was less than ideal, and man, it has made me cry multiple times since my first day there, but I held it down, even though my amount of doodles makes it seem I do no work at all, and I’ve been on a couple of performance plans during my time, I’m proud of myself for how long I stuck it out there. Customer retention is not easy at all.
I’m a little annoyed at myself for letting myself stay there for so long. I’m still depressed, still very lonely and very friendless, and I maybe gave some of the best years of my life to a company I made no progress in, since early on i made attempts to progress but it either didn’t happen for one reason or another, or I just didn’t want to “play the game” of sucking up to my superiors since it ain’t my style. There are people there that have been on the phones for years and I have no idea how. The money is ok, but personally, I’d prefer to be happy, even if I do love getting paid.
I’ll be going into another sales job, but store based. And also very target focused, possibly moreso, as in my old job I was targeted, but overall it was quite lax. It could be worse, but to me, any change is a good change at the moment. If I don’t like it, I really need to make an effort to change it if I don’t.
Onwards and upwards, but thank you for everyone who has ever followed, reblogged or liked my posts here. I really appreciate it. Thank you!

The last ever call centre doodle - The Phoenix, of all characters, since I’m changing jobs for the first time in 3 years. Jean has featured a lot on this blog actually since it started. Her costume is still so iconic to me.

This really is just a page of random doodles. I think I remember the guy in the middle coming about because of T.O.P from BIGBANG and me listening to a lot of Kpop as of late.
