the sheer offensiveness of rereading something you wrote, discovering that, hey, it’s actually pretty good, and then reaching the end, wherein you realize that if you want more you actually have to write it

Unpopular opinion:
The fandoms are really amazing but THIS, it pisses me off so much.
I think it’s really toxic when fans invalide someone else because: they didn’t read all the books, they didn’t watch the whole TV shows, they just love the last albums of a band, they just love the most popular songs of a band, they don’t remember everything form a books/movies/etc.
Who are you to decide which person is a “real” fan or not? It’s time to stop being in competition about who’s the best fans, who know everything, etc. Because it doesn’t matter, it just hurts people who just want to share their love of something with everybody else.
At the end of the day, the person(singers, writers, celebrities) that we love all, just love us because we are there for them. Because we cheerish them, we relate to them, we encourage them etc.
I am really sorry, because I was that kind of person back in the days. And I just realized how dumb that was. Who am I to go tell other people they can’t enjoy this because they don’t “know” everything about it? If we ever talked, and I’ve said things like that , I am really sorry. If you want to talk with me about the fandom(s) you are in, you are welcome!
I don’t care if you just love Panic! At the disco because of High Hopes.
I don’t care if you love Harry Potter, but don’t know who Peeves is.
I don’t care if you love Divergent, but you don’t know everything about it.
I don’t care if you only love the 5 first seasons of Supernatural.
I’m gonna stop here because I think you get the idea😅. If you only love a single thing from something and if it makes you happy, that’s all that matter. It’s the problem of people to stop shaming that. Stop shaming, making a person feel bad about something because they don’t know all. People need to be happy, shaming them will make them sad and we don’t want that.
Only yourself can decide if you are a fan or not. Fuck the others and go enjoy your fandoms!
(My first language is French so my English may sucks sorry. Also it just my opinion about something I’m seeing a lot on Tumblr/Pinterest/etc and I wanted to share it. Don’t feel attacked ❤️)

Okay. I've got a serious question. Do you really think that there are as many pop culture references as some of us think there are?
I always read about Muggleborns at Hogwarts doing pop culture references. I'm not 11 anymore. I don't remember what I knew about pop culture back then. But I feel like everyone assumes that an eleven year old knows a whole lot more about it than they actually do?
There's the thing about Hogwarts. You're totally closed of. No Muggle news, no internet, no television. No way to actually keep up with pop culture. Well you could get information through letters, but that would probably be kinda hard for new gifs or memes. So when the term ends you're a couple months behind on pop culture. Something that is so fast moving that even when I have internet I'm sometimes behind on. Is it even possible to catch up on it in the holidays? And yeah, some people might say it totally is possible but you have to consider that you went to HOGWARTS. So you have homework to do and stories to tell. You'll visit new friends, possibly pure or half blooded friends who don't have a tv or don't get your new knowledge about pop culture. So does it even make sense to catch up on it?
Do you really think that there are as much pop culture references as some of us think?
I'm really just curious, I don't want to enrage anyone. But the thought just stuck with me. Would it make sense? Would it be necessary?

Apparently I'm the only one but I think that Changkyun looks a lot like a chubby Ben Hardy.

Recently I looked trough my pencils. I found two special ones. One of them is yellow, the other one pink, both are fine liners. I tried to write with them and it worked although their tips were broken. It was even prettier than before!
And because of that something came to my mind:
The tips of these pencils are broken BUT they are still working - they are working even prettier than before.
These pencils are like human beings.
