I believe 6 chapters of Canis The Speaker where released in Japan before the switch over. That is if I'm correct in chapter 11's extra is the last chapter in volume 2. Chapter 17 is the last one Zakk previewed on their twitter before the switch over notice.

Thank you for the info! I checked and seems Canis - The Speaker was last published in Opera vol.72 back in May 2019 and it was indeed Chapter 17.

Since Takeshobo is re-releasing 2 chapters every month and chapter 6 was in April, it will still be several months before we see any new chapters. But once we're done with the digital re-release, we might get Volume 3 immediately. I suggest that those who can't wait that long should just check out the digital releases from Chapter 12 onward :) They release around the 20th of every month on sites like EbookJapan, Renta, Cmoa etc.

Let me have a good cry and a moment of reflection at how heart wrenching Canis The Speaker is. I am overwhelmed with a flood of thoughts and emotions.

The first story of Canis about Ryou and Satoru is endearing. The hand extended by the hatter on a rainy night had saved both of them and the hatter’s hat indeed gave happiness to people and himself. The story is beautiful and promises a happier and brighter future.

But the trio in Canis the Speaker.. what future do they have? Is there even redemption and freedom at the end? Will there ever be laughter, smile or happiness for them? But those probably ended at 11 years old. And they are trapped in the neverending tunnel of despair when Sister Mary plunged them into hell upon earth. Sister Mary - she is beyond evil to do that to little children. And those inhuman people who ruined Nobu are much more evil. This story can be said to be a story of villains. But villains are heroes in their own stories and they are also made not born. They were victims and there were circumstances that made them into who they became. There were monsters that created other forms of monsters. The second story of Canis is so dark, brutal and violent, corrupt and inhuman, filled with pain and despair. And it is compelling, it is gripping, it is captivating and it is haunting. If only the world is free of pain and abuse, if all people act like humans and all children can live and grow up in a happy, safe and kind environment.
