i will forever and always love Winnie the Pooh. the novels = my childhood.

so, i miss public transport.

basically, i used to catch two trains and a bus - a trip that took two hours - each way to and from school. why? because i had to. 

but you know what? i didn't actually mind it.. in the slightest.

i mean, okay yeah. getting on a bus at 6:45am isn't exactly the most awesome start to a day; especially in winter.. but it kind of became.. like. fun? there were your regular bus riders - who also joined you in catching the connecting train at the station you stopped at - the other school kids who had to catch the bus, my favourite sisters in the whole world, and then my actual friends (who at that hour of the morning were so mind-numb-ing-ly tired, that they almost relied on me to keep them awake). and i loved it.

i'm a morning person, what can i say?

i was walking my dog today (which is a story in itself), but it made me realise how much time to myself i didn't have anymore.

the best part about catching public transport was knowing that, for the next two hours of your morning or afternoon, you can do whatever you please - for however long you wanted.

i miss that, a lot.

so, until we meet again, (751, 7:17, 7:56).. i'll be thinking of you.
