[Fic] From Pixels to Flesh
AO3 Original
Title: From pixels to flesh Fandom: Yowamushi pedal Pairing: Manami Sangaku/Onoda Sakamichi Rating: pg Length: 709w Summary: Onoda finds himself totally invested in his new game. A/N: This was a fill for SASO2015. Please enjoy.
Onoda is definitely not looking at the walkthrough. Definitely not.
…Okay, maybe just one peek.
He closes one eye and peeks at the screen of his computer with the other, checking the choices he has to choose in order to get Manami Sangaku. The first choice seems easy enough and he bites back a smile as he exits out of the window and returns to his handheld in order to continue playing.
--
Choices: -No, it’s okay, I’m fine. I haven’t seen you around here before. I’m [Onoda Sakamichi], what’s your name? -Watch where you’re going next time! -Oh, no, it’s cool. I’m okay. What’s your name?
Select: [‘No, it’s okay, I’m fine. I haven’t seen you around here before. I’m [Onoda Sakamichi], what’s your name?’]
Are you sure? : -Yes -No
Select: [Yes]
“No, it’s okay, I’m fine. I haven’t seen you around here before. I’m [Onoda Sakamichi], what’s your name?”
‘I’m Manami Sangaku. Are you sure? Here, have my water bottle. You’re looking a little pale.’
“Thanks, Manami-kun!”
Manami Sangaku 10+
--
It’s too early in the morning and a bike up the large hill is really unappealing right now but Onoda rides on. He had stayed up till 2 am playing the dating sim and only went to sleep when his handheld finally died, causing him to yawn repeatedly and attempt to blink the sleep away.
Even now, as he rode to school, all he could think of was the game. Onoda wonders what Manami would be like for the school festival event.
--
‘Hey, [Sakamichi-kun!]. Do you want to go to the goldfish booth? I’ll catch you a bunch of them!’
Choices: -Sure! I hope you live up to your promise! -Ah… Manami-kun, maybe one would be enough? I won’t have anywhere to put them all! -No, let’s go to the food booths instead!
Select: [‘Ah… Manami-kun, maybe one would be enough? I won’t have anywhere to put them all!’]
Are you sure?: -Yes -No
Select: [Yes]
“Ah… Manami-kun, maybe one would be enough? I won’t have anywhere to put them all!”
‘Oh, I guess you’re right. Then, in that case, I’ll catch you the best goldfish!’
Manami Sangaku 10+
--
“Hey, you’ve been all over that handheld for a week now.” Naruko comments, leaning over Onoda's shoulder to watch him play. He stays quiet for a while, watching as Onoda played the mini game to raise his love points with Manami. When the game cut to the next event scene, Naruko points at the character on the middle screen. “Who’s that guy?”
“Manami-kun,” Onoda mumbles, too focused on the game to notice his surroundings.
“Oh,” Naruko relaxes back into his seat and just shrugs in response to the questioning look Imaizumi sends him.
--
‘[Sakamichi-kun], I think I might really like you a lot.’
‘Do you… like me too?’
Choices: -Yes, I like you too -No, I’m sorry, but I like someone else -Can we talk about this later?
Select: [‘Yes, I like you too.’]
Are you sure?: -Yes -No
Select: [Yes]
“Yes, I like you too.”
‘That’s great! Hearing you say that… It makes me happy.’
‘I can’t wait for us to see each other.’
[Thank you for playing.] [Credits]
--
Onoda closes his handheld and leans back in his seat, sighing happily. He finally finished the game and ended up with Manami, even when he only used the walkthrough for the first choice.
“Now what should I do…?” Onoda bites his lip as he stares at his cup of hot chocolate, watching the wisps of smoke disappeared into the air. “I guess I can go to Akihabara tomorrow and get another game.” He muses out loud.
“Why would you do that? I thought you thoroughly enjoyed my route?” A familiar voice interrupts his thought, causing him to look up and gasp in surprise.
There, in front of him, stood Manami Sangaku in flesh. The boy sends him a smile and slides into the seat in front of Onoda, a cup of hot chocolate in his own hands.
“I did tell you that I couldn’t wait to see you.” Manami says, eyes twinkling brightly. “Let me just say, it’s much nicer seeing you with my own eyes than through the screen.”
Onoda just laughs merrily, his own thoughts mirroring Manami’s.

[Fic] Mechanism
AO3 Original
Title: Mechanism Fandom: Ookiku Furikabutte! Pairing: Abe Takaya/Mihashi Ren Rating: pg Length: 1,240w Summary: Abe and the rest of the Nishiura team are tasked to protect Mihashi. A/N: This was a fill for SASO2015 for the prompt ‘Bodyguard au where Mihashi is a rich heir to a company etc and Abe is hired to be his bodyguard (+ the rest of the Nishiura team?)’ Please enjoy.
“Your job is to protect Mihashi Ren, the sole heir to Mihashi Corporations, one of the biggest companies in Asia. His father had requested for a personal bodyguard to always be by Mr. Ren's side as well as a team to accompany Mr. Ren should he leave the house premises or the office building."
"Why is he so guarded?"
The man giving them the assignment looks up from his clipboard, a smirk gracing his face. "Let's just say Mr. Ren has a genius of a mind and, if that mind lands into the wrong hands, our country could experience another war."
At his words, the team shut up, their eyes grim at the mention of a war. They'll do anything to prevent another one. Even if it meant having to babysit some spoiled rich brat.
--
Mihashi Ren is the opposite of what they had expected when they received the job. He didn't act spoiled and certainly did not act as if he was better than everyone. In fact, Mihashi Ren was the opposite of what a rich, company heir should be. He was constantly fidgeting anxiously, his eyes darting from one bodyguard to another and he always seemed hesitant in everything he did. There simply was no confidence in his actions.
"H-he… llo," Mihashi mumbled, voice too quiet that Abe had to step closer to hear him. Mihashi looked up in surprise and took a step back, hiding himself behind his father's assistant.
Abe sighed but backed off. He was thankful Mihashi Ren seemed easy enough to deal with; not demanding at all and certainly not arrogant and careless about his money. Mihashi Ren would be a piece of cake to protect, Abe was sure of it.
Little did he know that protecting Mihashi Ren would be the least of his worries.
--
Tajima prided himself in being one of the best in his division. Although not useful for spying on enemy grounds, he was useful for gathering information about his targets as well any threats to his subject due to his friendly and welcoming aura. Unfortunately, he was only useful for agent missions--not protecting some rich heir.
The heir in question, Mihashi Ren, was an enigma. A piece on the chessboard so easily manipulated, yet still so valuable, much like a queen. Tajima just wasn't sure how to deal with him. Mihashi would lean away from any contact, would stutter and shake when confronted; it honestly scared the guard that something could happen to the boy. The others in the team felt the same way, if the pairs of eyes constantly on the boy were anything to go by.
It’s been a month since they’ve been assigned to look after Mihashi and nothing had happened yet. No one had threatened the man’s life and, even more importantly, they still didn’t know what it was about Mihashi that made him so valuable to the company besides being the heir.
The team had speculated many times during their breaks when only Abe was with Mihashi, but no one could come up with anything. Mihashi, in their eyes, seemed normal. So why would they hire a full team to protect him?
--
It was approximately two months from when they first met Mihashi when Abe saw why. He was the only one out of the team that was almost always with Mihashi so it only made sense that he would be the first to see it.
The man was crafty and smart, Abe concluded as he walked around Mihashi’s office. Many inventions littered the numerous desks, their blueprints rolled or folded beside each gadget, a note stuck on the object, reminding Mihashi of any more repairs or changes needed to be done.
“A-abe-kun…?” Mihashi followed Abe around the room, biting his lips as he watched his bodyguard inspect each technology closely. A part of him wanted to pull Abe away from his works for each and everyone of them were something he held dear. Still, he trusted Abe enough to let him continue perusing his office, watching as his guard’s wide eyes took everything in.
Abe touched a metal disk softly, stepping back in surprise when the disk suddenly grew legs and a scope. He watched the scope direct its stare at his face before switching to Mihashi who tentatively smiled. The disc scuttled itself to the edge of the desk and Abe watched, fascinated as the normally timid man smiled and confidently held out the palm of his hand for the disk to climb on.
It was a different side of Mihashi Ren, one that he wasn’t able to show just anybody. Abe counts himself lucky and hopes that he’ll be able to see it again, this time directed at him. (He ignores the feeling of his heart trying to break out of his ribcage and further ignores the knowing looks the rest of the team flashes at them when they catch sight of the two together (which was always)).
--
Abe didn’t know he was capable of harming someone enough to physically – and maybe mentally now that he thinks about it – damage someone. He finds that he doesn’t really care, especially when the said person he had just kicked across the concrete floor had been mocking a tied and terrified Mihashi with a knife.
Abe checks the crumpled form to make sure he was unconscious – giving it an extra kick to the chest for good measure, an action that causes Mihashi to wince and look away – before heading over to the chair to untie the shaking heir.
As soon as his legs are wrists are free from the rope, Mihashi all but flings himself at Abe, burying his face into the guard’s chest, tremors running throughout his body. Abe gently unties the cloth acting as a gag, slips it out from between them and tosses it somewhere behind him.
“Hush, Mihashi. I’m right here. We’re all right here.” He whispers to the man’s hair as he wraps his arms around the shaking form, moving his fingers up and down in what he hopes is a relaxing manner. “It’s okay, he’s gone. You’re okay now. I won’t let anything like that happen again.”
Mihashi whimpers softly into Abe’s jacket, his tears darkening the fabric. His shaking has lessened but is still consistent and Abe bites back the urge to pummel the man who harmed Mihashi. It wouldn’t do to have his charge watching as he beats the kidnapper black and blue even though he really wants to.
With a sigh, Abe tucks Mihashi’s head under his chin and brings his body closer, encasing the smaller man and shielding him from the world. He wouldn’t let anyone else harm Mihashi ever again. If anyone tries, Abe will return his or her attempts tenfold.
(Abe hopes Mihashi didn’t see the fury in his eyes when he spotted the man tracing Mihashi’s skin with the knife. He cares too much about Mihashi and he really doesn’t want to scare the man away.)
--
“A-abe-kun.” Mihashi whispers into the thin space between them, his eyes wide open despite the late hour. “I’m sorry… I… I didn’t…”
“It’s okay.”
“I think… Abe-kun…” Mihashi’s cheeks reddened, eyes widening even more than what Abe thought was possible. “L-lo... maybe…?”
Abe simply smiles at the man and kisses his lips in reply, hoping to convey everything he wants to say to Mihashi.
Mihashi doesn’t have to tell him. Abe already knows.

[Fic] Closer
AO3 Original
Title: Closer Fandom: Free! Pairing: Haruka Nanase/Makoto Tachibana Rating: pg Length: 590w A/N: This was a fill for SASO2015 for the prompt ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender universe.’ Please enjoy.
He had first met Haruka at the docks when he prepared to board to return home, only to be stopped by a firm grip on his wrist.
“Don’t go,” The boy had whispered, his eyes shadowed by a dark fringe of hair. “Don’t go.” He repeated, this time more quietly, hesitance and nervousness obvious in his tone.
Makoto isn’t sure what compelled him to stay with the boy. But as he stood there at the dock, waving farewell at the members as they headed back to the Southern Water Tribe, and feeling more excited about the thought of taking care of Haruka than he was sad at the thought of leaving his tribe, he believed the reason to be something truly special. Something that his young brain just wasn’t ready to comprehend yet.
It’s been six years since then and five and a half since he found out that Haruka was a waterbender from the Northern Water Tribe. And that he also happened to be the avatar.
“Makoto,” a voice murmurs behind him, breath hot against his bare neck and Makoto shivers, face turning a bright scarlet that was, thankfully, hidden under the cover of night. He waits a few minutes for the red to subside, before turning to lie on his back, head turned slightly towards Haruka to indicate that he was listening.
“It’s been six years.” A statement. Makoto curls his fingers around the edge of his sleeping bag but otherwise stays frozen. He doesn’t want to interrupt whatever Haruka is about to say.
“Maybe it’s time.” Haruka whispers into the wind and Makoto bites his lip in anxiousness. There had been many times where the two had found themselves draped over each other underneath the bright night sky, lips locked together and eyes twinkling almost as bright as the stars above them.
He shivers and nestles deeper into his bag. It would’ve been useful to have a firebender around right now, but Rin had already left with Sousuke to Republic City last night and it had been many, many months since he was last face to face with Nagisa, the exuberant firebender, and his much calmer, yet odder friend, Rei.
Makoto could, of course, ask Haruka to conjure a fire for them but he was afraid of breaking the atmosphere. He could stay cold long enough to hear the rest of Haruka’s words. He can.
The sound of a sleeping bag unzipping causes Makoto to turn his head towards Haruka, only to hiss as his own bag was opened. He mentally cries out an apology to whatever being he had angered before a warm body stuffs itself beside him. The sound of the zipper closing escapes Makoto’s notice because all he can hear is his heart thudding against his chest and the sound of his heavy, panicked breathing.
He feels two arms snake themselves around his torso and Haruka nose his shoulder then settle by his neck, his breathing causing goose bumps to rise on Makoto’s skin even though the sleeping bag was almost at a feverish temperature.
“As I was saying,” Haruka continued, each huff of breath he took, tickling Makoto’s neck. “Maybe it’s time you started calling me Haru instead.”
Makoto stares at the sky lit with stars instead, wondering why he ever fell for this man.
“And that, maybe,” Here, Haruk- no, Haru – pauses, his voice slightly nervous, “we should get together. Officially this time.”
That was all it took for Makoto to twist around and kiss the air right out of the boy.

[Fic] Life Under Shots of Film
AO3 LJ Original
Title: Life Under Shots of Film Fandom: Kuroko no Basuke Pairing: N/A Rating: PG-15 (Suggestive content) Length: 1,153w Warnings: Mentions of sex (no actual sex), slightly suggestive context Summary: This is the life of Kuroko Tetsuya, a cleaner of the sets at MoSats Films. A documentary based on the life of the guy who cleans up after porn sets. Author’s note: This was a fill for SASO2015 for the prompt 'a documentary based on the life of the guy who cleans up after porn sets' Please enjoy.
'This is the life of Kuroko Tetsuya, a cleaner of the sets at MoSats Films. His job is surely one of the most interesting jobs out there. Let's have a look.'
--
Kuroko wrinkles his nose as he picks up the discarded clothes, making sure to only use his thumb and forefinger. After all, he didn't want to touch any of the white stuff. "Kagami-kun, Aomine-kun. Next time, please try to keep the clothes relatively clean." He deadpans to the two boys getting ready to head to the showers.
Aomine grins and just waves off his hand dismissively towards his direction. Kagami, at least, had the courtesy to be embarrassed, his face a brilliant shade of red.
"That's your job Tetsu. If we cleaned up, then you'd have nothing to do. You should be happy."
At this, Kuroko's eyebrow twitched.
--
"I'd really like to one day hit Aomine-kun with an Ignite Pass Kai." The bluenette says, annoyed.
"Ignite Pass Kai?"
Kuroko brightens up slightly at the interviewer's question, "Ah, yes. I play basketball in my spare time. Ignite Pass Kai is a move I use. It hurts quite a lot, at least, according to my teammates."
"I see. Besides Kagami and Aomine, are there any other people that you find annoying and disgusting to clean up after?"
Kuroko taps his finger against the table, lost in thought. His face suddenly darkens and he lets out a low, animalistic growl that strikes the interviewer with an urge to run.
"There's always him."
--
“Kurokocchi!” Kuroko cringes as the taller blond drapes his arms around Kuroko’s form, effectively dirtying the boy’s shirt with the products of porn-making. Technically, he could punch the blond and blame it as a distraction from his job. After all, Momoi-san was forgiving enough so he doubts that he’ll get into too much trouble.
‘Oh, but there’s the camera.’ Kuroko glances at the cameraman filming the two of them and sighs.
“Kise-kun, please refrain from touching me after you’ve finished filming.” Kuroko slips out of the blond’s hold, frowning at his dirtied shirt. He’ll have to burn it later when he gets home. “Why don’t you go wash up? I have to finish cleaning here and I can’t if you continue to distract me.”
“Hmm~” Instead of heading off to shower like his partner did, Kise seats himself on the edge of the bed, legs swinging back and forth as he watches Kuroko clean up around the set.
“You know, you’re really cute Kurokocchi.” Kise rests his chin on his palm, his eyes roaming Kuroko’s body. “You’d be great as a star too. Why don’t you try it with m-“ Kuroko throws a pillow at Kise's face, effectively cutting him off.
Kise winces, disgusted as the pillow comes off and leaves a sticky fluid on his face. “Gross, Kurokocchi.”
“Just like you. Now go shower,” Kuroko raises another soiled pillow, eyes boring into Kise’s.
Kise doesn’t stick around and runs for the showers.
-- “That’s… disgusting.” The interviewer muses, grimacing at the thought of having her shirt dirtied by cum.
Kuroko nods in agreement, “Unfortunately, Kise-kun doesn’t learn and continues to do it every time I’m the one assigned to clean up after him.”
“Really? Does he ask you to become an actor every time as well?”
“Yes.”
“And you always say no, right? How come?”
Kuroko bites back a smile at the accidental pun before answering, “I already have someone waiting for me at home.”
“Ohh,” The interviewer nods understandingly, “Is he or she cute?”
“Very cute.” Kuroko answers and receives a giggle in reply.
--
“Tetsuya, do mind coming over here for a minute?” Akashi calls out to Kuroko, stopping him from heading to where Murasakibara is cleaning up.
Kuroko heads towards Akashi instead, wondering what the director could possibly want with a cleaner. “Yes, Akashi-kun?”
Akashi gives him an amused smile, fingers tapping against the hand rest of his director’s chair. He lets Kuroko wait for a few seconds, watching as Kuroko’s eyebrows furrowed in impatience before speaking.
“A little blond birdy told me that you’re interested in becoming an actor. He says that he volunteers to be your first. Is that tr-“
Kuroko walks away and ignores the rest of Akashi’s sentence, causing the redhead to chuckle.
“Didn’t think so.”
--
“What are some of the interesting things you found out while working as a cleaner?”
Kuroko sighs at this question and leans back, preparing to tell the interviewer a story.
--
“Murasakibara-kun. Please stop using so much food items in your film.” He tells the tall boy lying on the mattress, thankful for the bed sheets covering the boy’s privates. “You stain the bed sheets a lot and Midorima-kun isn’t happy that he always has to buy new sheets. He says that it cuts into our budget a lot and that if you continue to use chocolate in your films, he’ll cut your pay to help pay for the new bed sheets.”
Murasakibara freezes on his way to stand up and turns towards Kuroko, eyes narrowed. “Tell Midochin that the chocolate is what draws a lot of people. He can’t cut my pay because of that.”
Kuroko just tosses a piece of paper into Murasakibara’s covered lap in response and leaves the set with a basket of dirty sheets, Murasakibara’s scream the background music of his exit.
--
“Oh, so Murasakibara-san uses chocolate during filming?”
“Yes.”
“I see. That is indeed interesting. Is there anything else you’d like to tell the viewers?”
Kuroko stops sipping his milkshake to shake his head at the camera, tongue flicking out to lick the straw clean, “No, I don’t think so.” He says before placing his pretty, pink lips around the straw, Adam’s apple bobbing at every swallow of the white liquid.
“Ah,” The interviewer gulps from behind the camera. “It’s a shame that you refuse to be an actor.”
Kuroko looks up at the camera at her words, a look of confusion in his eyes.
--
'This is the life of Kuroko Tetsuya, a cleaner of the sets at MoSats Films. It is indeed interesting what he has to deal with at work. Such a shame that he’s only a cleaner and not an actor, don’t you think?'
--
Kuroko enters his house, exhausted. He couldn't wait to head to the showers and wash away all the dirt his body had accumulated during the day. Kuroko tugs at the shirt he borrowed from Akashi to replace the one Kise had soiled earlier, thankful that Akashi noticed and lent him his extra one. He should really start packing multiple shirts. Kuroko had already accumulated a pile of Akashi's shirts due to Kise's tendency to hug him after filming.
He snaps out of his thoughts by the sound of barking followed by hurried footsteps as he enters the living room. Smiling, he bends down to pick up Nigou and pets him, pressing a kiss on his head.
"Definitely the cutest."

Cheat Sheets for Writing Body Language
We are always told to use body language in our writing. Sometimes, it’s easier said than written. I decided to create these cheat sheets to help you show a character’s state of mind. Obviously, a character may exhibit a number of these behaviours. For example, he may be shocked and angry, or shocked and happy. Use these combinations as needed.

[Fic] Day 7 - Alternate Universe
AO3
Day 7 - Alternate Universe Title: Hogsmeade for two Fandom: Kuroko no Basuke Pairing: Akashi/Kuroko Rating: PG Length: 1,411w Warnings: mentions of KasaKise Summary: Hogwarts!AU Author’s note: I’m sorry, this was so rushed because I wanted to finish it before Akakuro week officially ends. I think I’m late by an hour (California time I think), but that’s okay. Please enjoy!
Kuroko wakes up huddled underneath his blankets, blinking in the dark for no light could possibly penetrate through the many layers of fabric piled on him. Sighing, he slowly slides a hand out of the blanket ready to pull back all the layers one by one, only to pull it back a second later, shuddering from the cold. Today, he thinks, Today, I will allow myself a sick day.
His lips form a small smile at the thought; after all, he wasn’t the type to miss a school day, which means that his teachers wouldn’t question his excuse. Kuroko thanks himself for being an attentive and punctual student and mentally gives himself a pat in the back for being a great student.
I must owl my professors my excuse. Kuroko slips a finger out of a gap in the blankets before shaking his head. Maybe much later when the room warms up. I’ll get out of bed then.
With that said, Kuroko buries his nose into his comforter and drifts back into unconsciousness.
Kuroko’s confused brain estimates the time to be around 8 am when he is harshly woken up. The first thought that comes to Kuroko’s head is to punch to perpetrator then head back to sleep, but it is completely forgotten when the blankets are peeled back and he is exposed to the biting cold air then all Kuroko can think of is wrapping his pale, thin fingers around Kise’s throat and strangling him silly.
“Kurokocchi~! Wake up! McGonagall cancelled classes for today since it’s too cold so we’ve all decided to go to Hogsmeade and hang out! Wouldn’t that be fun?” Kise chirps, letting the blankets pool around Kuroko’s waist and moving to sweep the curtains beside his bed wide open to let the sunlight in.
Wincing, Kuroko grabs a blanket and attempts to protect his eyes from the blinding rays reflecting off the snowy landscape outside.
“Go away, Kise-kun.” Kuroko murmurs, pressing his blanket-covered palms against his eyes. “This is not your house, I request that you leave immediately.”
“Kise, please leave our room.” A voice pipes up and the sound of rustling from the next bed over suggests that Midorima had just woken up. Kuroko bites his lip, amused at the annoyed snarl in the boy’s tone. “How did you even enter our house? Did you ask one of those first year girls to let you in again?”
“My two favorite Ravenclaws, you hurt me so!” Kuroko can hear the pout on the blond’s lips and he resists the urge to smile and peek out of the blanket. Instead, he presses his palms against his eyes more and tries to head back to sleep. “But no, not quite. Akashicchi brought us all here.”
Ah, Akashi-kun. That makes sense. He’s one of the only ones able to get in the Ravenclaw tower without help.
“What does Akashi want? I thought classes were cancelled.”
“Hm, not sure. I think he’s planning for all of us to go to Hogsmeade?”
Kuroko opens an eye at Kise’s words. Hogsmeade. With his favorite butterbeer and vanilla milkshake Hogsmeade? Is that the Hogsmeade we’re speaking of here?
Reluctantly, Kuroko peels back the cover and winces at the brightness in the room, eyes squinting and he resists the urge to bury himself back into his blankets.
“Hogsmeade?” Kuroko mutters and sits up. In a second, Kise is beside him with a smile too bright and too close that Kuroko ends up pushing his face away with his palm. “Personal space, Kise-kun.”
Kise laughs, his voice muffled against the palm still pressed against his face, “Yeah! Akashicchi thought that we should all hang out together.”
With a small sigh, Midorima stands up and heads for the bathroom, “I’ll go shower first then. Kise go wait downstairs. Actually, wait in the Great Hall. You shouldn’t even be in the Ravenclaw quarters in the first place.”
Kuroko drops his hand away from Kise’s face, making sure to wipe it on the boy’s shirt to get rid of any germs. Still, he wrinkles his nose at his palm and is careful to avoid touching anything with it. He’ll have to disinfect it later. Who knows where Kise’s face had been.
The boy doesn’t notice and heads out of the dorm, a bounce on his step as he calls back cheerily, “The rest of the Miracles and I will be in the common room, kay?”
The door shuts and both Midorima and Kuroko let out a tired groan. What part of waiting in the Great Hall did he not get?
The group is ready to set off at 9:30, stomachs filled with breakfast and pockets filled with coins. Somehow, their group of six expanded into a group of ten, and they all had to walk in pairs in order to fit in the pathway and leave enough space for others to walk past. Kuroko finds himself in the front with Akashi, their jackets brushing with each other every step of the way.
Halfway through their walk, Kuroko wonders how it would feel like to hook his arm through Akashi’s and bury himself into the red-head’s side in search of heat.
The thought immediately causes Kuroko to blush and bury his face into his blue scarf, ignoring the curious look Akashi sends him.
“We can split up,” Akashi says as soon as they’ve arrived in Hogsmeade. “I’ll take Tetsuya and you can all group yourself accordingly.” Leaving no room for arguments, Akashi takes Kuroko’s wrist and pulls him to the direction of the Shrieking Shack, disregarding the displeased cries from behind them.
When they’re far enough from the others that they’ve lost them through the crowd of Hogwarts students, Akashi stops and pulls Kuroko to the path for the Shrieking Shack. Kuroko himself had never believed in the ghosts or banshees that supposedly haunted the shack and he’s quite sure that Akashi didn’t believe in the myth either. So the fact that Akashi had decided to bring him to the viewing area bewildered him.
Akashi stops by the fence and pulls Kuroko in front of him until Kuroko’s near enough that he can see the specks of gold in Akashi’s eyes. He’s tied between pulling away and staying in place. After a few seconds, Kuroko’s moves to pull away when a hand caresses his cheek softly and Kuroko freezes, eyes widening at the contact.
“Come on, Tetsuya. Don’t pretend you’re not cold, I saw you earlier.” Akashi whispers and takes a part of his scarf, wrapping it over the younger boy’s own scarf. Akashi tugs it until it’s covering Kuroko’s cheeks then leans closer and brings the boy to a hug, settling his chin on Kuroko’s shoulder and burying his nose into his neck. A few seconds pass before hesitant arms slowly wrap themselves around Akashi’s form and Akashi lets out a content sigh. It’s still cold, but Akashi can’t bear to move right now.
The pair continued to stand there for a few minutes before Kuroko finally speaks up, his teeth chattering slightly. “Akashi-kun. It’s cold.”
Laughing, Akashi pulls away enough to see Kuroko’s rosy face and concludes that they should probably head inside. He takes off the rest of his scarf and wraps it around Kuroko until all that was visible was his light blue eyes. Then, taking Kuroko’s wrist, he tugs them both towards the direction of The Three Broomsticks in search of some Butterbeer, leaving nothing, but a pair of footprints on the snow.
Extra:
“I’m not sure why you even want to follow them.” Kasamatsu frowns, leaning his back on the trunk and rolling his eyes at Kise who’s currently spying at the couple from behind the tree.
“Shhh, senpai! We’ll get caught! And anyways, it’s Akashicchi! Who knows what he’ll do to Kurokocchi?”
Kasamatsu rolls his eyes at the blond’s answer and peers around the trunk only to see the two subjects hugging. It’s kind of adorable really.
Too bad, Kise’s ruining it by invading their private moment. With a sigh, Kasamatsu straightens himself and grabs Kise’s elbow. He ignores the confused sounds coming out of the blond’s mouth and instead starts dragging him towards Honeydukes.
“But, senpai. Kurokocchi and Akas-“
“Forget those two. They’re enjoying their day so we should too. Come on, I’m taking you to Honeydukes.”
Kise brightens up immediately and quickens his pace, almost to the point of dragging Kasamatsu. “What are you waiting for? Let’s hurry then!”
fin.
I hope I did well on it.. I’m not so happy with it, but I tried. I’m really sorry for not doing the other days.. I’ve been so busy with tests and competitions so I didn’t really have time for anything else, but sleep.

[Fic] Day 2 - Reunion
AO3
Title: I dream of us Fandom: Kuroko no Basuke Pairing: Akashi/Kuroko Rating: PG-13 (language) Length: 1,271w Warnings: mentions of AoKaga, hints of MidoTaka and KasaKise if you squint Summary: In which Akashi dreams of nothing, but Kuroko while Kuroko dreams of everything, but Akashi. ParallelWorld!AU Author’s note: Please enjoy this. So sorry I’m late, it seems my inspiration comes at night.. It’s currently 2am and I didn’t beta read this one either. Will check it over later when I wake up.
Day 2: Reunion
All nineteen years of Kuroko’s life, he’s dreamt of worlds unknown to others, sees events and people he’s never met or experienced before. But every time his alarm clock rouses him awake, its always right before he meets someone important.
Playing in the school gymnasium at night with what seems to be a younger Aomine, challenging Kagami in a basketball game which seems foolish seeing as both he and Kagami don’t play basketball, painting a wall with his friends and remembering very clearly that someone is missing from their group, but never being able to pinpoint who exactly.
So many scenes have come and gone through his mind. Some, he likes to catalogue into his brain (those ones are the special moments when his dream self is the most happiest, strangely enough, half of these events occur with his dream self around the mysterious person’s company), while others he just lets drift by.
Kuroko’s never had a reason to look into them deeply. They’re just dreams after all, very vivid dreams, but are still something his mind just created. Kagami says that his dreams could mean something – suggests that maybe its something from his past life. Kuroko humors the thought in his mind and honestly considers it before Aomine’s obnoxious laughing interrupts him (“Honestly, Tetsu. Don’t listen to this guy. I mean he takes those stupid astronomy sign things seriously.” “Astrology you dumbass. Get it right.”). When Aomine pointed it out, Kuroko admits that it kind of does sound foolish.
“Maybe Kuro-chin’s not eating enough? I know I have funny dreams when I don’t eat enough,” Murasakibara comments and proceeds to shove his burger under Kuroko’s nose. “Eat up, Kuro-chin.”
“No, thank you. I don’t think that’s quite it.” Kuroko says and slowly pushes the burger away. Murasakibara shrugs and continues to devour the sandwich while Kuroko watches on.
Across from him, Himuro just smiles, “Maybe it means something? Are you experiencing any problems in your life right now? Your brain could just be sending you messages.”
Kuroko sips his milkshake carefully as he ponders if he’s experienced any recent events that he felt strongly about. When he comes up with none (he hardly thinks Aomine and Kagami’s PDA is important enough that his brain would care), he shakes his head a second time, “No, I don’t think that’s it either.”
At night, right before he goes to sleep, he receives a video call from Kise and, after much thought, he answers it with a small sigh. A second later, Kise’s smiling face flashes on the screen, “Kurokocchi!”
Behind the blond, Kasamatsu raises a hand in greeting before returning to his work. Kuroko just smiles politely before addressing his friend, “Don’t you have work tomorrow?”
Pouting, Kise raises his phone enough for Kagami’s name to be seen, “Kagamicchi texted me that you’re having more dreams again lately. I thought I can help you with deciphering it!”
More dreams. No, that’s wrong. They’ve never stopped in the first place; I just didn’t want to worry anyone so I lied. Kuroko shakes his head in reply, “Go to sleep, Kise-kun.”
“But Kurokocchi-“
“Good night.” Click.
Rustle.
Kuroko stands up and raises his hands above his head, stretching. He lets out a satisfied sigh as he hears the bones crack, rolls his neck to relieve the ache.
Quietly, he turns off the desk lamp and shuffles off to bed. It’s okay Kise-kun. They’re just dreams. He looks out into the dark, before closing his eyes. Just dreams.
That night, Kuroko dreams of a red-haired man.
“Soon, Tetsuya, soon.”
He’s working when the topic is brought back to light. This time its Midorima and Takao that’s attempting to find answers.
“Hmm,” Takao taps his fingers against his mug. When no one looks up, he taps harder against the porcelain and repeats it much louder, “HMM.”
Midorima sighs and puts down the document he’s reviewing to send Takao an annoyed look, “Is there something you’ve figured out?”
Shaking his head, Takao reclines on Kuroko’s sofa, arms cradling a square throw pillow between his crossed legs. “Maybe it’s some fate thing. Like you’ll meet this guy and go on these adventures or something.”
“No, I don’t think that’s quite it.” Kuroko pauses his grading and looks up at his guests, “Dream me wasn’t any older than high school at most.”
“Well, I can’t interpret those dreams for you since I’m not in that field of study. However, maybe I can give someone I know a call and arrange a meeting for you.”
Kuroko contemplates Midorima’s proposal, but ends up refusing it. “No, thanks. They’re just dreams.”
“If you say so.”
Still, a day later, Midorima slides him a card with someone’s name on it. Kuroko reads it over, but ends up tossing it on his desk. They’re just dreams.
This time its a pair of red eyes that arouses Kuroko from his sleep.
Momoi smiles at Kuroko kindly when he meets up with her for lunch and, for a second, he thought he was safe from the conversation about his dreams. This thought shatters when her first words to him aren’t “Hello Tetsu-kun!” like the usual and instead “I think that you’re fated to be with this person.”
Kuroko collapses into his seat with a tired sigh.
Another week passes by with his friends discussing the meaning of his dreams when he finds the card buried under a pile of graded papers on his desk and decides to book an appointment.
For once in his life, he dreams of nothing that night.
Kuroko stands outside a building, flicking his eyes between the card and the address. He’s not exactly sure why he’s decided to go through with this meeting (“Kuroko, about your dreams-“ “Tetsu-kun! So did you dream anything last night?“ “Kuro-chin, do you want more snacks?” “Kurokocchi! Why’d you end that call?”), but at least he might receive a professional interpretation of his dreams.
He enters the building and tells the secretary his name before sitting down on one of the soft, plush seats to wait.
There’s not a lot of people in the room, only the secretary, himself and a white-haired boy reading a book in the corner. The boy keeps glancing at him with furrowed brows, causing Kuroko to feel the slightest bit uncomfortable.
There’s relief in Kuroko’s eyes when he hears his name called. He stands up and, sending the boy a small nod that causes his eyes to widen and quickly stare back at his book, leaves for the office.
Kuroko walks into the room and closes the door behind him softly. He’s calm and a bit hesitant, but it’s okay. After this, he can treat himself to a milkshake and hopefully be done with the whole topic.
“Tetsuya?”
Except he’s not.
Kuroko slowly turns to see the red-haired boy in his dreams standing in the same room as him. He vaguely registers the spinning chair behind the man from the force from when he stood up as said man comes at him with alarming speed.
“Tetsuya.” The man repeats before enveloping Kuroko into a tight hug, arms wrapped around so tight as if he thinks Kuroko will disappear if he doesn’t. Slowly, Kuroko brings his arms around the man as his dreams flash before his eyes – this time with the man fully painted in the scenes.
Teiko. Seirin. Kiseki no Sedai. Akashi Seijūrō.
“Akashi-kun.” Kuroko whispers before burrowing his face into Akashi’s shoulder. “Akashi-kun, I’m home.”
The arms around his middle tighten as Akashi buries his face into Tetsuya’s hair. He takes a deep breath in before replying, “Welcome home, Tetsuya. I’ve been waiting for you.”

[Fic] Day 1 - Old Habits
AO3
Title: We can try Fandom: Kuroko no Basuke Pairing: Akashi/Kuroko Rating: PG Length: 877w Warnings: fluff? Idk I didn’t beta-read this so I’m so sorry if its grammatically incorrect or whatever but its 12 am here and I need to wake up early tomorrow. I’ll fix it tomorrow. Summary: Akashi’s up for trying if Kuroko is. Author’s note: Let’s play find Kuroko and Akashi’s habits! I’ve included a few that’s actually mine and some are from my friends. They’re not really “habits” but you sometimes have a small habit like tapping your fingers, etc that you don’t notice.
Day 1: Old Habits
Akashi stands outside the café, bundled up in a thick jacket and his face buried into his striped blue and white scarf, watching as his breath turned into small puffs and dispersed in the cold air. He was early and he knew it, but that’s fine. Akashi doesn’t mind waiting and, as he puts more thought into it, he doubts that he’ll ever mind.
“Akashi-kun,” a soft voice cuts into his thoughts. Akashi turns his head towards the newcomer, accidentally exposing his cheek to the frigid air. He holds back a shiver and smiles at the boy instead. “You’re early.”
Kuroko comes to a stop in front of him and, taking his mittened hands out from where they hid inside the long sleeves, reaches over to grasp Akashi’s cold, bare ones from his pockets, rubbing over them softly.
At this, Akashi couldn’t help but curl his fingers around the smaller boy’s. It was a habit they used to have back when they were at Teiko. It had helped Kuroko calm down and relax right before a match and, unknown to the other, it helped Akashi relax a bit as well. It was halfway through their second year, right during the time Aomine awakened, when their pre-match ritual and any other physical contact stopped.
“Come on,” Kuroko speaks up, and lets go of one of Akashi’s hands. Kuroko keeps the other in his grasp as he pulls them both into the warm shop, the soft sound of the bell tinkling above them.
They both stand by the entrance, observing the room and its customers. By the window, Kaijou’s ex-captain sits, a book in one hand and a cup of something warm in the other, his eyes never straying from the pages. Akashi wonders where Kise could be. Usually, the blond was trailing after his senpai, eager to please. Still, he’s relieved at the boy’s absence. Sometimes the blond can be a bit overbearing, too excited about everything and especially clingy with Kuroko.
Akashi waits till Kuroko’s finished stomping the snow off his boots before tugging him to follow after the hostess.
They sit across from each other at a booth in the corner of the cafe, the toes of their boots touching as they flip through the menu. It’s silent between them, the other customers’ conversations a muffled background noise, but it’s comfortable. The two weren’t the type to talk much; they never were even during their Teiko days.
“Do you happen to serve vanilla milkshakes here?” Akashi blinks himself out of his haze and looks up to watch Kuroko. His thin, pale fingers are rubbing the corner of the menu absentmindedly, eyebrows furrowed as he listened to the waitress.
He nods and speaks up again, this time his question is directed towards Akashi. Akashi blinks and tilts his head to the side slightly, causing Kuroko to repeat the question, amusement in his eyes.
“What would you like, Akashi-kun?”
Akashi looks at the waitress and smiles politely, “I’ll take a bowl of tofu soup and just plain water.” He pauses, sending Kuroko a glance before adding, “A slice of vanilla cake would be nice as well.”
“Is that everything?”
“Yes.”
“I’ll be back shortly with your order.”
With a soft sigh, Akashi unwinds the scarf from his neck and folds it neatly, placing it beside him on the chair.
“How have you been, Tetsuya?”
Kuroko taps his nails gently on the wooden table, looking thoughtful before finally answering, “Good, Akashi-kun. I suppose you’ve been good as well?”
“Yes.” Akashi leans back in his chair to take in his ex-teammate, now friend’s state for the first time since their first encounter. Kuroko had grown taller and he had filled out a bit more. His sickly pale skin from Teiko days were long gone, this time replaced with a healthy shade – from his time spent outside in the sun, Akashi concludes – and his eyes were much more expressive, yet much more calm and relaxed than his Teiko self. Seirin has done him good, probably a lot better than Teiko had ever did, as much as Akashi doesn’t want to admit it.
“Akashi-kun.” Kuroko speaks up, breaking the red-head from his thoughts. He opens his mouth to continue, but stops when his gaze lands on something behind Akashi.
The Rakuzan captain hears the sounds of heels hitting the floor behind him before the waitress appears, bearing a tray filled with their orders. She smiles at them as she places their order on the table and for once, Akashi feels annoyed at the interruption. He knows she’s only doing her job, but what horrible timing.
She disappears after wishing them a great meal and Kuroko repeats his previous words.
“Akashi-kun.”
Akashi stirs his soup idly, but his gaze is trained on Kuroko whose fingers seemed to speed up under his stare. “Hm?”
“Can we,” Kuroko glances down for a few seconds. He takes a deep breath before returning Akashi’s gaze, this time with determination in his eyes. “Can we try again?”
The hand stirring his spoon halts into a stop.
Akashi blinks back the surprise before smiling at Kuroko; the hand continuing it’s stirring as if nothing happened. “Let’s try.”
“Hello, I’m Kuroko Tetsuya.”
“Nice to meet you Kuroko. I’m Akashi Seijūrō.”

Chapter 13: Hunted
“I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hystericalnaked.” –Allen Ginsberg
Nifa is dead.
‘Nifa is dead.’ Eren swallows harshly at the sight of Nifa’s body crumpling to the ground. Her head lolls to the side lifelessly, fair skin stained with blood and portions of it ripped away and eaten by the ghouls. The sight of bone along with the stench of iron that overpowers his senses causes Eren to gag. He’s seconds away from regurgitating his lunch—can feel it lurking at the back of his throat.
Eren wants to look away from the bloodshed, but there’s blood everywhere; it’s on the pavement, on the ghoul, on Nifa—on him. It itches at his skin and he can feel it seep into him, feel it burn as it bleeds through his pores ever so slowly and Eren panics. He panics because he hasn’t been taught what to do when your partner is murdered in front of you. He panics because he’s not sure whose blood it is that’s currently staining his shirt crimson—his or Nifa’s. But most of all, Eren panics because there’s something sharp and wet digging at his shoulder.
Struggling to remove the object attached to his shoulder, he feels a prickling sensation at the back of his neck before frigid hands are reaching around and clutching at his shirt roughly. Eren stiffens as he hears the heavy breathing by his ear, can feel the sharp nails draw blood through the cotton fabric of his shirt. His shoulders tense up as something wet licks a line on his skin before a searing pain blooms from his shoulder.
Eren lets out a strangled yell and he fights to free himself from the ghoul’s grasp, succeeding only when he lands a poorly aimed back kick on the ghoul’s shin by sheer luck. As soon as the hands withdrew, Eren is gone, sprinting off and away from Christ Church and the hands—away from what’s left of Nifa’s body.
After Eren’s a good distance away from the building, he chances a glance back at the yard and sees the pack of ghouls feasting on Nifa. He considers going back and fending off the monsters so he can give her body a proper burial, but when one of the ghouls looks up and eyes him with hunger on her blackened eyes, he disappears into the night, a hand clenching tightly at his wound, knuckles white, yet stained crimson.
It’s only after a few kilometers of continuous running when his body finally fails him and he ends up tumbling into the dirt with a yelp. Small pebbles bury themselves into the exposed skin and Eren winces; tries to readjust himself so it doesn’t hurt so much. He lies on the ground panting and takes shallow breaths. Eren shuts his eyes and attempts to regulate his breathing; the soft sounds of night his lullaby.
As risky as it might be lying on the road exposed and vulnerable to any carnivorous creatures, he has no other choice. If he tries to run now, sooner or later his body will collapse again and this time, he might not be able to get up and sprint off in case of danger.
He takes only a few minutes, but it feels much more than that. He’s paranoid and flinches at every sound, expecting something to come running at him. Nothing comes though and for once, he’s thankful for his small presence. Eren listens for a few more minutes before quietly pushing himself up. He brushes away the dirt on his clothing and looks around a few more times. There are sounds of shuffling a few meters away, but nothing has come into sight yet. It’s possible that it’s a stray ghoul wandering about to catch any unsuspecting civilians for dinner. Whatever it is, Eren doesn’t linger to find out.
The door slams open and Eren enters, feet uncoordinated and mind clouded. He manages to trip over the rug at the entryway and slam his hip at a dresser, eliciting a moan. The wound had worsened on his way home and all he can feel now is the biting pain. The poison is bleeding into his skin; Eren can feel the madness creeping at the edge of his mind, prodding for any cracks in the system.
Eren can feel the walls closing in on him, can feel the floor lurch from under him and he stumbles his way into his small kitchen with a growl, crazed eyes wide.
He was wrong. The poison had already found a crack and is now bleeding into his bloodstream.
Those monsters, the ghouls, have a certain chemical in their saliva that can poison an ordinary human. It can bleed into your bloodstream and bring you to the edge of insanity to the point of no return—can turn you into a ghoul yourself. Rarely does this happen since its not often that a ghoul would turn a human willingly; they’d rather eat them than have more competition for food. Most of the transformations occur due to the victim escaping just in time and managing to survive long enough for the poison to take effect. The symptoms are recognizable even at an early stage and this isn’t counting the physical changes one goes through during the process. First you lose your coordination, then your tolerance for human food, then your mind and finally your humanity once you start feeding on human meat.
With a cry, Eren flings the door of the refrigerator open. He has enough time to take inventory (a jug of milk, a carton of eggs and left over ham sandwich from last night) before he’s sweeping everything into his arms and heaving it onto the island counter. Eren unscrews the jug of milk roughly and tilts his head back to pour the liquid into his mouth, some spilling past the corners of his lips and dripping onto the floor. It only takes him a second before he’s scampering to the sink and throwing it up. Eren gags, wipes his lips with his sleeves and reaches for the sandwich next.
“I can’t be one of those things!” He attempts to bring the sandwich into his mouth, but his body is fighting him and his hands shake in protest. Eren breathes in then forces himself to bite the bread and chew it, but the taste is so horrid that he ends up spitting it out.
“No.” Eyes wide, Eren scrambles to the pantry to reach for the junk food he keeps hidden behind cans of soup. Eren tears open a chip bag and shoves pieces into his mouth, it takes him barely a second before he’s back at the sink and scrubbing the pieces off his tongue.
“No, no, no, no!” He reaches for the closest snack and comes up with a chocolate bar, which Eren quickly unwraps and crams into his mouth, but the taste is so terrible that Eren can’t force himself to swallow it. Letting out a strangled cry, Eren claws at his tongue, tears streaming down his face.
He dry-heaves and chokes back a pathetic laugh as his legs collapse under him, leaving Eren face-to-face with the cabinets underneath his sink.
“Why,” Eren murmurs, voice broken and eyes red. “Why? Why!?” He lets out an anguished scream and pounds his fists against the cabinets furiously, the sounds only accompanied by his feeble wailing.
It’s cruel. It’s cruel that he himself turned into the monster that killed his parents years ago. He can’t. He can’t live as a ghoul. No, he WON’T!
It takes Eren a second to come to a decision and it takes him even less than that to put it into action.
Without hesitating, Eren raises his arm to his lips and brutally bites down on the skin, piercing right through it with his sharpened teeth. Thick, warm liquid explodes into his mouth and the ghoul in him greedily swallows it all, hungrily licking at the wound to milk as much blood as he can. The liquid activates something in him and when he reaches to bite his hand next, Eren catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror on the wall. His eyes, once a rich amber color, is now a scarlet red swallowed in a sea of charcoal. There are red veins pulsating around his eye, throbbing visibly at every swallow of blood.
Eren groans at his reflection and twists around to avoid seeing himself due to guilt and pure hatred. The remaining human in Eren is disgusted with himself and continues to struggle pathetically against his ghoul side, but it is steadily losing as his mind gradually gives in to the madness, his humanity slipping away with every bite he takes. He’s almost all gone, but Eren can’t stop himself from feeding on his body, the greed and hunger taking control, nor can he do anything as his humanity dances away from the tips his fingers until its too far and he’s lost it all.
Soon, Eren finds himself on the floor, stomach full, yet severely injured and covered in his own blood. It’s when his eyes are almost shut; just a tiny sliver revealing the outside world does he hear the sound of his door opening. Eren can feel the feet pounding against his wooden floor as it swiftly closes in on him and he opens his mouth to call out, but only manages a soft whimper.
Eren’s already gone by the time the person reaches him, the stranger’s hands panicking as they feel for a pulse. The silence of the apartment is broken by the stranger’s screams of grief and the distant sound of an ambulance.
“Eren Hunter, a 21-year old officer from T.G., found dead in his home with many of his body parts missing. It seems as if some type of monster or animal has attacked him, but the T.G. will not release any information on Hunter’s condition. They are currently investigating Hunter’s case, but states that it is highly unlikely that any information will be revealed to the public. They ask the public to leave his family alone to mourn for their loss and to not question them about his case. It is truly a sad loss for our city for he was a great detective. On other news, a 19-year old woman gets a chance to meet up with…”
Author’s note: If you’re wondering. Nifa is Legout.. My partner and I (she wrote the first chapter.. Not sure if she’ll publish it, but yeah) decided on Armin first.. But ended up with the female version which is Legout AKA Nifa. So, in a way, Armin was supposed to die.
