Does yoga make you beautiful?

Yoga is a physical and mental (and can sometimes be spiritual, too) practice that helps to alleviate the body and mind from stress. That sounds great, but does it help our beauty? All of my research points to yes. Let me explain:
Stress kills us. It can lead to weight gain that can spiral out of control, many frightening conditions such as heart disease, and stress compromises the immune system. That sounds horrible for your well-being. A little less extreme results of stress can include: worsening acne, sleep problems, and premature aging from cortisol (the stress hormone) changing collagen production.
Now that you know stress is harmful, let's look at a beneficial and healthy way to relieve it- yoga. According to Yoga: Fight stress and find serenity - Mayo Clinic by mayoclinic.org, yoga really does work. Outward beauty does come from within; invest in your beauty by improving your skin, immunity, sleep, posture, and mental health with this wonderful practice.
Personally, yoga has done a lot for me. It truly calms you, and when you practice it, it's like you can feel the stress leaving your body. Since doing yoga, I have more mental peace. I have also noticed physical changes. My skin is more radiant, and my body is more toned. A goal of mine is to become more flexible, and yoga even helps with that. Beauty and health really can be achieved by following simple practices and doing a bit of research.

Care with Carys: Introduction
Hi, everyone! Here is a little introduction to my blog, "Care with Carys".
Okay, so, my name is Carys, and you should know that this blog's writer has a passion for the earth, health, and beauty. I am thinking of writing educational articles, beauty and health tips, and maybe some reviews of products based around those three passions of mine (earth, health, and beauty).
The conservation of earth has always been important to me. I love finding new ways to be sustainable and help the planet a little more. That being said, it saddens me when i buy products that do not promote these ideas or have ingredients within them that can actually harm my body! Nothing is worse than looking up an ingredient on the back of your shampoo bottle to discover that it is a carcinogen or neurotoxin. Wow, no wonder some of our hair is breaking off and looking awful despite our use of products that are being marketed to us as "healthy"! This isn't only happening with our shampoo, however; these same tragedies are found within our skincare and body care too.
My mission is to talk about these issues, promote products, and give my knowledge on practices and more natural solutions that actually help our beauty, health, and earth. From now on, let's make decisions favoring our well-being! Doesn't the earth and its' people deserve some love?
Hopefully I will be able to build a community and my own knowledge on how health ties in with beauty. I am very excited about starting this, and I hope you are as well!
