I worked on every episode on this Youtube channel. I drew characters and backgrounds, as well as frame by frame animation for when the animator couldn’t make the rigs look right. There was no set role for each Illustrator, it was a small team so each had to be able to draw every type of asset that was required. This was a very fast paced cartoon and was made along side other deadlines.

Most of these illustrations and comics you’ll find on this Instagram page were created by me. From concept to finished design, these were posted here and over to Asia. Comics similar to these, but in the form of double spreads, will be published in the book Ben Phillips School of Pranks: The Ultimate Pranking Education on November 1st 2018.
Some the illustrations from the page. You’ll find comics by following the link above, the images are a higher quality there.

Pages from the picture book I made for my final piece for the Illustration part of my degree. The story is called Fionn and the Giant, which tells of the Irish hero Fionn McCool and his encounter with the Scottish red giant, Benandonner.
The pages were hand drawn using an ink brush pen and then coloured on Photoshop. The pages were simply bound into a small A5 picture book.

Illustration from the story of The Fox and The Cat. The background was made using a stencil and sponging gouache paint. The characters were made by making each section of the body, sponging gouache paint, and then digitally assembling the pieces using Photoshop.
