#well the last two movies I watched were The Return and Apollo 18#odysseus returns from the trojan war to his home. the moon. while his family has a bad time#look the odyssey crossed with a crazy moon horror movie could be great. the problem was the Return fucking sucked#couldve been half the length. it was just two hours of odysseus being depressed; telemachus being miserable; n penelope being also very sad#like I love angst and the Ithacans as much as anyone yknow but it was a bit much. woulda been better with some moon demons

Oh we should've let LeeBeeBee live, despite the fact she was spying on us, already shot Gurathin, was threatening all of us, and already had a hand in killing everyone in DeltFall, oh and she did all of that of her own free will.
Let's kill all the SecUnits! Yay! We crushed one with a hopper! Yay! That worm thing bit one's head off! No matter that they're enslaved, tortured people who had literally no choice but to do this to us.
No wonder Murderbot is going to do what it's going to do at the end.
This isn't me bashing PresAux (I mean, maybe a little), it's just good writing, clearly leading to the end of the season.
This clearly shows that they don't quite view SecUnits as people yet.
#my thoughts EXACTLY#also the bit where arada said “it's just their nature!” to state why they shouldnt kill/hurt the animals#well we saw secunits in their “natural state” and so far the death of two of them has been met with riotous cheering#wouldn't be surprised if mb has a bit of a crisis and leaves them#i think narratively it would fit with the length of the season#it'll isolate itself just before the climax and then return to defend them because THAT'S WHO IT IS EVEN WHEN MISTRUSTED AND MISTREATED#murderbot tv#VERY frustrated with presaux this episode. good
